I put four nice ones on the stringer during this video. Then I went hunting for redfish. That video will be coming out next. After catching a bunch of redfish, I stopped back by this spot to finish my trout limit off.

Solid stringer! That had to be during the week. No way a kayaker could survive fishing there in a weekend lol

Thanks Jerry, I left that day with 5 specks and 3 reds. You're right that was on a Wednesday(8/7/19) I usually don't fish that area on the weekends. If I'm fishing the weekend, I try to go somewhere boats with a prop can't get to.

Thanks, I've never heard of those 3JD lures until now. I went and looked them up, and they definitely look legit. I couldn't find the brackish gold, but it sounds like my kind of lure. If I weren't hooked on Slayer Inc stuff I'd definitely give them a try.

Yes sir, that's a 7' mamba with a med/fast tip. I love it for walking the dog. I can get a full swing walk with very minimal wrist movement.

I settled on that one a couple of years ago, and so far it's the best of what I need in a net. If it weren't for the treble hooks I probably wouldn't use it. I stopped using it on reds since it tends to split their tails. I'm sure it don't kill them, but it opens them up for infections and parasites.

Thanks, it's always amazed me how that spot holds solid specks. They don't seem to mind the boat traffic. The dolphins that stay close, is about the only thing that will kill the bite when it's going good.
