Exactly one year ago, Viking Chairman Tor Hagen spent Christmas on board the Viking Polaris in Antarctica. In this new video diary about his voyage, Tor invites viewers to join him on the trip of a lifetime. Filmed by his Oslo neighbor, Lene, the home videos showcase the incredible wildlife, scenery and scientific research that Tor and his fellow travelers experienced while exploring the “White Continent.”

Can anything be more spectacular than this experience! Thank you Viking for bringing this to us! Mr Hagen has taken so many of us out of our comfort zone and experienced LIFE!! I was blessed to be with my sister on the greatest trip of our lives on the Volga river cruise in Russia from Moscow to St Petersburg.....I hope someday to add this to our list!

Amazing filmography by Lene. She did brilliantly. I love to hear the voice of Mr. Hagen. Thank you for this. My daughter was there a month ago doing research so no pictures of her unless some show up from a National Geographic photographer. This helps.
