Thanks a million Miss.Emily Horizon for posting this fabulous play. I loved❤ it so much. Harvey Fierstein is a terrific writer. As well as a marvelous actor. Since he did the original play and the film.
No disrespect intended. But after having seen Harvey and Bancroft in these roles, nobody was gonna measure up. It was just gonna be this huge hill to climb. But I know the next Arnold and Ma are out there. They’re definitely out there. But these two weren’t it.

Yikes. Not good. Shocking as I think of Mercedes rule is being extremely talented but she has none of the actions of a Jewish mother. Of course, following Estelle Getty and of course the marvelous where's the marvelous ann bancroft can't be easy, but you gotta give it a shot. The male lead has none of the appeal as Harvey. Is the whole thing was flat.
