The torchlight procession in Edinburgh, Scotland, is a tradition that takes place as part of the "Hogmany" celebrations at the end of the year in the country, it is also said that the origin of the festivities dates back to the celebrations of the solstice of winter of the Vikings, with wild parties to say goodbye to bad spirits and welcome the new year and thus attract good luck.
This year I was encouraged to participate in the procession and I will tell you all about my experience.
