At the request of Griffin Law, I've created alternative title sequences for the spin-off show Torchwood using the Series 1 title sequence for Torchwood Series 1 & 2, the Series 4 title sequence for Children of Earth, and the Series 6 title sequence for Miracle Day. Enjoy!

This is now my favourite video from you. Love the attention to detail, especially with having the Matt Smith title sequence be the basis for Miracle Day. It makes sense since Miracle Day came out in 2011, the same year as Series 6.

Quick question - for the 2010 titles, since you have five names in there, how did you do all the extra lightning bolt animations for them?

@@Merganman4 I see. I did play with the lightning effects in After Effects, but couldn't seem to stick the lightning striking the titles. What do you do? Do you put the title animation with the lightning?

@@AaronTheCrystalClod The lightning is a separate layer - I create the names (including all the lighting) and then place the lightning effects overtop of the names composition, keyframing the positioning to line up with each name.

Is Torchwood worth watching? I was too young for it when it initially aired but with it being on the iPlayer, I've been considering giving it a shot

I'd say so! I only just watched it shortly after the pandemic began but it made me wish I had checked it out sooner - it's not without it's duds, but IMO the highs - particularly Children of Earth - are amongst the best stories in the entire franchise (that being said, the darker/more mature content isn't for everyone - but if you enjoy those kinds of shows then I think it's a pretty safe bet you'll enjoy Torchwood too!)
