He is absolutely correct about her playing the guitar and at the same time slay the vocals. I know its not hard in general to play and sing if you practice a bit, but her timing is off the charts and her style of singing demands a lot of vocal focus. She is insane. Jacob is just a genious. He deserves all the recognition, not only for his knowledge and ability, but for his humbleness and charm. What a duo!
Jacob’s vocal improv brought tears to my eyes and left Tori speechless ❤️🧡 Love the leap of faith in each other, pushing of tech boundaries to create magic in the moment ✨
@@a2bMovements Yup, I'm familiar with Jacob Collier. Watched a live stream where he actually incorporated half sharps (between semitones) into his composition. Gotta love a bit of microtonal music.
As a musician this is the greatest thing I've ever seen - Tori and Jacobs voices, musicality and vibes together just creates something beautiful that I would never get tired of listening to..
I love at how Tori marvels at what Jacob throws at the piano. I don't know how much she knows about that level of harmony (not trying to say she doesn't but let's be honest, few of us actually understand what Jacob does) but she definitely knows when something exceptional happens and is overwhelmed by it.
Favorite Male Musician: Jacob Collier Sweetest voice ever: Tori Kelly I love and respect Both of them so much Jacob is something else.... so young but already my superhero in music
I love both of you, Jacob kills it on the varieties of things he can do on instruments and arrangements and Tory sings angelicly and I'm in love and always get goosebumps everytime she sing.
"But if I'm stubborn enough to not listen to your time, and I stay in my place..." That can work for music that doesn't require fine-grained short-term interaction (which jazz music requires). Such a strategy is basically ignoring the problem of latency with a workaround rather than solving it.
The fundamental constraint here is that the speed of light is much too slow. That isn't an issue for which musicians can possibly provide anything more than makeshift workarounds.
