Definitely Faouzia, her range and the emotion in her voice is just incredible. Plus sadly she doesn’t really flaunt just how incredible and talented her voice is
They’re such a tie vocal wise😭 it’s hard to choose vocally between the both but my personal preference is Faouzia, her tone and her style are to adore.
@@addictedtovocals Yeah that’s why I said Tori’s more consistent right now considering that she’s older, have more experiences and is more developed. For now Faouzia is still young but when she’s gonna continue improving until she reaches her 30s, she’ll become SO much better than most of her peers.
The most of fouzia clips was btw 19-23 years old . But tori is btw 25-30. So fouzia gonna be more greater in the futur . Both are amazing vocalist. Love them . I am not gonna compare or chose
I used clips of Tori which were 1-8 years ago. I only used a few clips from her recent tour as I still wasn’t able to check out her recent videos from her tour.
*Lows:* Faouzia (Tori is very close though) *Mid-Belts:* Tori (Faouzia’s can be very strong but I don’t think she has more tense moments here than I can recall from Tori). *Upper-Belts/Mix:* Tie (Tori has improved over time but there have been quite a number of very tense and even strained upper belts and mixed notes. Faouzia’s upper belts and mix could use some improvement but comparing them at the same age, her upper belts/mix overall are stronger). *Head Voice:* Definitely Faouzia. More full and rounded. Tori tends to use that mask placed head voice/mixedish sound. She has started using head voice more but nowhere near as rounded as Faouzia. *Whistle Register:* Tie (both rarely use it in actual live performances) and they have had many opportunities to utilize it). *Vocal Agility:* Tie (Faouzia has the edge here due to versatility) *Musicality:* Tie (Tori has the edge) *Dynamics:* essentially a tie *Tonal Quality:* Faouzia Both talented songwriters as well!
Lows - Almost equal Belts - Faouzia (Mid-belts) & Tori (Upper-Belts) Head Voice - Tori Kelly Whistle - Tie Tone - Faouzia (but personal preference) Riffs - (both are the best in this generation at riffs) Tori MIGHT have a slight edge Regardless they are both underrated and should be appreciated alot more and def would love to see a collab between them!!!

Both of them are industry plants, not even one hit wonder, artists who won't make it big because there's no impact. Also we all (with ears) knows that Ariana's runs and riffs and her agility is unmatched, these girls don't come close
@@grandetristesse3370 You’re delusional. Talent is not equal to popularity. That’s a different criteria if u wanna rank these girls. I love Ariana and she have great riffs but definitely not close to these two in terms of musicality, speed, and precision. Ari’s biggest strength is her upper mix, I think.

Everyone here seems to prefer Faouzia’s tone (which i understand) but I just thought I’d say that my preference is Tori. Her tone is much brighter which I prefer🫶🏼

These two ladies are so brilliant, I'm at a loss for words. I'm surprised they are pretty much tied, because I expected Faouzia to completely dominate the lows and I can't deny that Tori is more resonant on some of the mid belts. I seriously need a collab between these two !!!
Overall I think Tori is slightly better. She has better agility overall and better mid belts. For upper belts overall, I go with Faoiza, because Tori sounds tenser when she adds more chesty and it's much lighter/heady when she makes it headier. But Tori Kelly has much chestier singing and it's even harder to do, mostly Faouzia starting even at C#5 is headier while Tori stays chestier. Dynamic - Tori Kelly Tone - I prefer Tori's Mid belts - Tori Kelly Low Notes - Tie Agility - Tori Vibrato - Tie Head Voice - I think it's a tie Upper belts - Faouzia
I don’t think that Tori’s was tense tho. They were just weighty in a way she got more chest engagement but placement can be better on the F#5. Faouzia’s high notes from Eb5-F5 lacks the chest engagement that’s why it sounds almost like it’s falsetto.
@@TorishKellington honestly she was really so tensed sometimes on upper belts especially above F5. That's the only real problem Tori has, she has the head voice, lows, agility, vibrato, power but her upper belts can be so tensed.
@@moragev2606 Yeah they are not perfect tho, even Ariana or Kelly have tense moments but it’s rare. For Tori Kelly she’s not as frequently badly tensed on F#5s anymore. She actually got many good F#5s but are very short and not sustained which I will showcase in the upcoming video. Her G5s tho, she’s probably working on it. But anyhow, it’s still not as tensed way back 2018 and the previous years before that.
@@TorishKellington Yes, 2018 was way tenser, now it's kinda better but they were really times that they are just too tensed. Hope she works more on this area.
Head voice wouldn’t go to Tori. It’s the weakest area for both of them however Faouzia’s head voice has more projection and rounder. Tori’s head voice has improved; it has mostly had that “mask placed, constricted and at times shrill quality. It has become less constricted but still not that full. As for vocal agility, I have seen more performances from Tori and she seems to almost always land it. Faouzia hasn’t performed as much but she’s also effortlessly agile and with her versatility, she has the edge due to the complexity ie. Faouzia could attempt Tori’s riffs and runs with more success than Tori would with Faouzia’s runs (those quarter notes in the maqam are something else).
@@Rosannasfriend Honestly most of youtube vocal coaches give everybody a high marks as long as they are able to sing and hit certain notes so they wont fully get my full trust if everybody is great to them
I want to one day to collaborate with faouzia and tori kelly. Love them. As a singer myself, i always look up to them as inspirations to not quit. i want to, and i will be a great singer along with them. Thank you for this video. I love that you took the time to do this.

Honestly it depends on their approach for me on the low side i prefer Fao but belts I prefer Tori! And their head voice GOSHHH why do they sound so similar prefer both! Whistles I think Tori has more ease as her voce is lighter so easier but I like Tori's more, my opinion.

Faouzia wins in every single aspect .. and I know for me it simply comes down to tone preference! I am not saying that Tori isn't great in all facets.. but I'm just not a fan of her tone or her riff style... so I have never ever gotten into her music. I think I have only ever loved one song that she sang.. and that was the Christmas song O' Holy Night. I know she is beyond talented.. seems like an angel of a person.. and my preference takes nothing away from that, annnd I can respect her fan base! Respectfully. Many of you are forgetting that Faouzia is actually a lower voice type than Tori Kelly anyway. Keep that in mind before you talk about “her upper belts don’t compare“.
Same with low notes. Both are really incredible and developed in that area but Faouzia have more comfort and fullness in that area as her voice naturally sits lower than Tori’s.
Besides, Faouzia’s still pretty young but she already have solid lows and hv. Pretty sure she’s gonna find a way to add more core and fullness to her belts as well.
after watching The Singer 2024, i just know how behind Faouzia still is. What I mean by that is that Faouzia can’t compete with Tori or Ariana in terms of vocal consistency yet, it’s as if her voice isn’t completely reliable.
Yeah they’re quite shaky and unstable. Probably cuz she’s nervous or smthg. Still young too most vocalists that age still has minor to major issues in their technique. Plus both are in different generations, Tori and Ariana are both way ahead of her in terms of training and experience.

It’s just that I tended to think that Faouzia’s voice was as reliable if not more than Ariana’s at the respective age. But turns out that Faouzia just had way too few performances (which she recorded in perfect conditions). she needs more vocal training to gain vocal stamina like Ariana during her Honeymoon Tour.

Just the isolated sound of single notes is not singing talent… what matters how they carry on the whole thing that’s what musicality is . Plus they don’t always sing the same notes the same way, they add nuances and musicality to adapt to each interpretation
Tone wise and based on artistic merit, Tori Kelly is miles superior to Fauzia. Fauzia has a very, VERY strong voice. But the voice lacks the character or "it factor" for a strong pop act. Fauzia, as talented as she is, does not scream "pop star". No amount of opposite replies will get me to pay attention, just so you know.
Tori has obviously more control due to her age and experience. Faouzia has more open belts above D5 compared to Tori. Overall in terms of technique, I think they are pretty tied.
Her mix is pretty light but for now it lacks the chest engagement. She had good clips but most of them are using a mic that’s heavily amplified. During live, u can clearly hear the difference in the weight Faouzia and Tori’s note carries. In my opinion as well, it sounds different when I use an earphone. There I can clearly hear Tori being more open in E5, F5 and G5. Plus a lot of these clips are showing Faouzia’s beautiful tone as compared to Tori’s shrill, bright and piercing voice which is not really for everybody. But try to listen more carefully on the first F5 clips for both. My boyfriend overlooked Tori’s tone when he heard it from afar and through my laptop’s speaker. But when he used his earphones, he immediately realized that Faouzia’s a bit pushy and is unstable. Tori’s way more open, she just had not so good vibratto in that clip.
@@GarageStudio7 Maybe because of their tone but if you really listen carefully on the F5, Faouzia’s placement didn’t help her to be as open as Tori’s. It was slightly throaty, Tori’s more foreward.
@@TorishKellington Tone can’t do all that for eg. Adele’s tone is widely regarded as more pleasant than Beyoncé but give them both an eb5 and it’s clear Beyoncé is eating on a daily. On that f5, I rather heard similar approaches. But Tori had more comfort due to her tessitura. Now compare the F#5 in “Born Without A Heart” vs “High Water” and it’s clear that Faouzia took that one. For a Soprano like Tori, those upper belts shouldn’t sound as strenuous as they do.
@@TorishKellington I think Faouzia's belts are still more open, but Tori has a better placement overall in her upper belts and more control. I don't think there's a big difference in their levels as vocalists anyway, I would still give an edge to Tori, she seems to have more control and is more refined as a whole. But Faouzia has the potential to surpass her in the future also as it was already pointed out here, Tori is a soprano and Faouzia is a mezzo, so they will have different comfort levels
@kimsoyame I have listened to her songs and I know that she does almost everything herself, but my personal favourite is Tori..she's a Veteran and her music touches the heart.
