Both. It’s really mind boggling. The enormous amount of product in this one warehouse is absolutely incredible. The amount of trash and cleanup just as unbelievable. I’m truly speechless.
I worked there, I had asked what would happen to us employees in the event of something like this and they said employees would have the option of going on leave or helping with clean up, I don't know how true that is though.
Did some country invade the dollar tree warehouse with artillery, tanks, guns, drones and planes? Does the US help out when theres a building collapse in another country? Go back to school. Jeezus fuckin christ.
@@AndyStraus-nq8db Are you out of your mind… You’re telling someone else to go back to school?? You don’t know how many trillions of dollars the USA has given to other countries when natural disaster strikes…If you’re going to try and stand on a pedestal at least know what the hell you’re talking about
@@francispicurro9990 Do we send aid for tornadoes, however infrequent, to other countries? Tornadoes in the US are a frequent occurrence. Not a once in a decade earthquake or typhoon. I don’t consider a tornado a natural “disaster”. They happen almost every month. If there is an earthquake that destroys entire cities, they need LIFESAVING help that their governments don’t have the resources to give. Giving aid to a country that has been invaded by a GLOBAL MILITARY POWER is night and day. Also, the US is the wealthiest nation on earth.
@AndyStraus-nq8db wealthiest nation. 37 trillion dollars in debt. You have no idea how economics work. Ask inflation. Then ask yourself about the UAE. 🤦♂️Jesus christ.
We had a tornado come through our small farming town . We were in church on a Wednesday night prayer service. The tornado missed our full church by about 50 feet. The houses around lost their roofs. I'll never forget coming outside and seeing a house with the roof off and the Rubbermaid tubs in the attic - still in place with their lids on ! 😮
Oklahoma. I guess setting up shop there somebody had a plan in case a tornado hit? That being said, seeing tractor trailers flipped up on top of each other is one hell of a mess cleanup.
@@AmyBethB four deaths so far. I agree honestly as an Okie. People here pick up, keep moving, they're incredibly resilient when it comes to these things and the communities come together. Our town had some minor damage and there's people already working to patch things up. It's the lives lost that hit the hardest.
i live and work in southern , oklahoma there are several major warehouses around here Dollar Tree , Best Buy , Dotfoods , and Dollar General has there largest warehouse in Gene Autry OK not far from me its over 2 millions sq feet last i heard
Yeah I read somewhere that they planned to close 100's of stores this year and as few more 100's in the following couple of years. I can't recall there actual counts.
That warehouse may be similar to how Amazon runs a warehouse, no tornado shelters, except I bet you anything Dollar Tree wouldn't dare to threaten their employees like Amazon does, to stay at work or lose their job, if they've got plenty of time to leave with an approaching tornadic storm.
@@jasminecalderon2658they are referring to a big tire plant in a town right by merietta. its a big job provider for alot of homes in the area and brings good business. but they are leaving in some years as far as i know and the rest is gas stations, dealershops, fast food, or few doctor or nurse jobs if that. you have to have a plan growing up or know people who are in a field already to get going good in this area.
Damn! Looks like that's the end of my employment there. I drove by as close as was allowed to today and I did not see all this destruction. I saw that it had been breached from the front side but all this top damage was not visible.
Praying for Dollar tree & praying for all the people that were affected by the tornado and all the people that are affected by the inflation and everything else that's going on
People need to humble themselves and examine our lives, how can we love God the Father better and His Son and how can we love our neighbor as our selves.❤🕊✝️
I drive by that warehouse all the time on my way to Ardmore, it was a huge warehouse may all that have been affected by the tornados make a full recovery.
For starters, if I was the CEO, and if I had to choose a location to build a warehouse like THAT one, my choice would NOT have been in OK or any other location likely to experience tornados.
Wow! Seeing this gives me the heebee geebees I work at one of the distribution facilities in California and our building is a replica of this so it’s very eerie to see this.
really?????????? They all new products not preloved at all So you mean this tornadoes man made targeting new products shops factories businesses????????? Weird indeed
That would open Dollar Tree/Family Dollar up to lawsuits if someone got hurt. They can't just walk away from the ownership of the contents of this warehouse and skip legal; responsibility.
Why does that warehouse contruction seemed to be made of sheet metal and metal bars..... where's the concrete.... where's the steel. That shit was destroyed because it was literally made of sticks and hope.
Imagine working for them and watching this on television, when a call comes in, work asking if you can come in and help clean up a small mess, and also saying No Overtime!
OMG!!! That place was huge!! Being in Oklahoma you would think the buildings would be built to withstand a tornado better, especially because in Oklahoma it’s something that happens more often than most other places. Sooo much damaged product. 😢
Most do when hit by Tornadoes. It's been there for quite a while and has withstood many storms in Oklahoma. Same storm a small town named Sulphur was devastated.
