As part of Tornado Week, we are sharing amazing stories of true heroes who risked their lives to save others. This is the incredible story of the school bus driver in Indiana who got her children to safety seconds before a tornado hit.
If she would have hesitated even for a few seconds the outcome of this story would be way different. I commend her for her humility in saying she didn't do anything special just what needed doing is all. If more people were like her this world would be a better place for sure.
Thank god they had an amazing bus driver. I just hope there is never a tornado for me on the bus cause k have an old man bus driver. He would get us out and to a safe spot. But I would cry non stop if he died.
I know this happened quite a while ago but I just saw it now and it brought tears to my eyes. I can only hope that my daughter is in the care of people like her when she's at school. ... or on the way to school.
True hero! My bus driver, we were in a bad storm (just the next school after April 27, 2011) and before we all started going home on the bus he yelled: EVERYONE please listen fast we need to go back into the building like we do in the morning and get into tornado position!
Very great job you save all 12 that was on that bus and glad that yall was all ok and safe and that nobody got hurt at all yall was very lucky and God was with yall
The mother of her child saved 11 young lives that day. If it wasn't 4 her, the kids would've been dead or seriously injured. I'm proud of her, she's a true hero! Thank-you Lord Thank-you Jesus! Praise God! Mother with a child, God gave you the strength and power 2 save all of your students including your own son. You're a good momma! You're really a good momma!
I’ve seen this on the Tornado Alley Real Time Tornado episode for Henryville and this woman is an absolute miracle worker no matter where her story is being told
+bvfdgthrthuwa asrtujkuhgtffds she did. But what if God wouldn't have given her that job? another person would have been driving that maybe wouldn't have had decisiveness like she did. God knows what he's doing.
What about Jesus when people don't survive? As a positive Agnostic not a hardcore Atheist, I try hard to understand how religious believers brain works...
btw people who build schools in tornado prone areas SHOULD STOP MAKING WINDOW FILLED AREAS. I mean sure , it looks good and flashy but do you really want to gamble with 150+ winds and glass? it should be function ahead of aesthetic plus it gives more option for shelter... that or you get put a shelter under or near the school.
Leone the Siamese My school is filled with windows there is probably 1 class room that would be safe because it's windows are on the walls but at the very top and they are very small also we have no basement
Rachael M Since you believe in this nonsense you do realize that your "God" made the damn thing to begin with.....if he saved them sounds a little narcissistic to me.......
She is a bus driver in a state where tornadoes happen. She most likely has had training in what to do if a Tornado is close by or what to do in an emergency ect, BUT she could have easily panicked or made a mistake so well done to her for keeping her cool, reassuring the kids that she will get them to safety and made sure all were accounted for. What an amazing lady and bus driver. :):
I show this to my dad and my baby sister and my whole Family this happened when I was in kindergarten in class but not near so im glad nobody got hurt and she is a super hero
