Notice: NEVER, EVER do what these people attempted. Do not WAIT to see or hear the tornado. Any actions that you do while the tornado warning is in effect AND includes your county COULD be your last one.
If ur in Belgium then u better be aware of those strong winds here, once a night there was a strong wind. I felt like an tornado approached but noticed “oh wait- theres only 1 wind, if 2 or more winds approach each other it equals tornado”
A few safety tips for everybody. Never do what this guy did whenever there's a tornado warning. You should stay in your house in the basement or lowest interior room. If you are out and receive it, foreman get into a ditch or suitable stable structure, And if you do not see it movand it is more than likely moving towards you. It could be moving away or toward you. You can tell by if it's not moving slash if it's getting bigger or if it's getting louder, it is likely to Coming towards you
Okay but seriously, i know this was one year ago and not many people will fond my comment BUT *Leave the pictures and videos to professional storm chasers. Do not under any circumstances come out of your shelter if it suddenly goes quiet. it is better to get to a shelter immediately.AND CERTAINLY DO NOT DRIVE TOWARDS THE TORNADO If the tornado looks like it's not moving LEAVE IMMEDIATELY the tornado is probably coming towards you*
And if in your car, don’t try to outrun it, some tornadoes move extremely fast an slower ones can still throw objects miles. Immediately run to the nearest ditch or if you’re nearby, a tornado shelter or basement.
National Weather Service: TORNADO WARNING in this area until 11:45 PM CDT. Take shelter now in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
@@catscratch4512No it is not. Granted it is better than just standing outside But it is a lot more dangerous than just staying in the first floor of your house much less Is in the lowest interior room or basement

One time when I was younger I went to Walmart with my grandpa and Dad after dropping off my Mom at work it was about 5 in the morning and when we were at Walmart we were under a tornado watch we hid the back of a Walmart for about 5 hours and I've been scared of thunderstorms my whole life after that (also the reason I'm scared of thunderstorms is because it would after thunderstorm)
here in canada, there has never been tornados, although, one showed up two weeks ago. i was TERIFIED. I was on my phone and GUESS WHAT?! tornado alert! luckily, i was 4 or 5 hours away from it. but the wind, rain and thunder was INTENSE. most of my friends lost elect. i was never this scared in my entire life
If there is a tornado warning it is a very bad idea to wait to see or hear the tornado to take cover but the thing is, if there home didn't have a basement or a good place to take cover it was a very good idea to rush to a Walmart (or any other commerical stores) because those stores have very strong storm shelters. But if you do get a tornado warning in your area take shelter IMMEDIATELY (please correct me if I'm wrong)
2 things 1. This is average day in the south during tornado season we get about 3-10 of these every month it’s nothing new here 2. My dads a storm chaser and I know to NEVER under any circumstances should you go to Walmart in a tornado warning stay home and shelter with windows or open rooms but in a closet tornado she’ll tear in home or community shelter and cover yourself with pillows and blankets and wear a helmet
