Despite everything else that happens in Board James, this song is the first thing i think of when i think of board james. It's so catchy and during the "peak" of the trio's relationship, its basically iconic.
Reminds me of the good old times. Cinemassacre isn't the same without bootsy anymore. He was something like the "special guest" and the good soul on the channel and i still love every video with him. But honestly, i can imagine 100 different reasons why he quit.
He didn't quit. Mike fired him because he wanted to actually be properly compensated for his work. They were ripping him and Kyle Justin off, and still are. Bootsy makes NOTHING from DVD sales or the ads on his Bootsy Beats videos. Even Mike left the channel now, so James can have fun playing by himself now that he's finally drove off his last friend.
Seems to be a familiar story with a lot of social media channels, they start out just doing it for fun but when the big bucks start coming in and the owners get greedy then it all gets nasty. Shame bootsy didn't make his own show, I think he'd have pulled a huge amount of viewers just based on his board James appearances...
It’s such a catchy freaking song. Sounds like a G C D cord progression which is in almost every popular song ever made. It’s the magic formula for oldies, country, rock, etc. this song rocks.
We all still miss you Bootsy, hope you start making videos again even if it's not with cinemassacre or about gaming. Thanks again for giving us more info about what happened behind the scenes on reddit
There was magic on screen when you, James and Mike worked on BOARD JAMES. 3 individual, loveable talents creating art and history. It can be revived! You could rebrand and package that magic for yourself Bootsy. Or...with a little forgiveness and patience, polish and focus on the formula - instead of the differences between you guys - the magic could continue! Much love to you
Wtf 12 yrs already??? Remember this very clear. Great time of cinemassacre, solid quality and genuine talent. These days i rather eat the rotting asshole of a roadkill skunk then watch screenwave nostalgia bs.
I thought this would've worked so great as an actual ad jingle (minus swears) for the game in 1991. But then again the Satanic panic was in full swing and "the devil calls your name" would be sure to trigger fundies.
