Tornadoes are NO JOKE folks. When you get that warning, and those sirens go off, don't waste time getting to safety. Also, do not try to wait until you see or hear it coming, because by then, it's too late and you're likely to lose your life. Be smart and do what weather authorities tell you to do so you stay safe. Also, be sure to invest in a battery powered weather radio, it will also save your life!
It’s clear people care about getting views on social media more nobody listens everyone goes to record the video to get famous on tik tok Facebook Etc nobody cares about taking shelter only views
Just when I think I've seen all of the best tornado footage something like this comes along! Tornadoes...Mother Nature in one of her deadliest forms of beauty.
im a midwesterner and there was a tornado headed straight toward the city i was at with my family, i was holed up in a bar with my friend and parents...but after i ran back to it from the candy store lol. instead of being too worried about it (even though i was a bit worried) i recorded the wind and flooding. shit was insane!
Tornado strength at the time: 0:10 No tornado 1:08 EF2 130 mph / 209 kmh (Video is sped up and siren noise is added for some reason) 1:17 EF4 175 mph / 282 kmh 1:32 Fake 1:47 Not a tornado, siren noise is added 2:24 Likely EF2 120 mph / 193 kmh 2:32 No tornado 3:32 House seems to have only experienced EF3 160 mph / 257 kmh winds, assuming the creator's damage description is true 4:26 Unknown. Can't find what tornado that is 4:52 No tornado 5:16 EF1 90 mph / 145 kmh 6:14 No tornado 6:23 Unknown. Can't find what tornado that is (This is NOT a dust devil) 7:22 EF1 90 mph / 145 kmh 7:42 No tornado 7:56 EF3 and less. Video is sped up obviously 8:02 No tornado, siren noise added
coming from tornado ally in NE, these things are scarier than you think because once you experience it 2 days after the last one, any sound you hear at night while you’re trying to sleep is suddenly a tornado siren we have this box like weather alarm that makes this freaky sound when it announces a tornado warning, and it haunts me in my nightmares
I agree with tornadoes being scarier than you think, not too long ago maybe like early July my mom woke me up at 12 and told me there were tornado sirens, after which two tornadoes were spawned by the same storm, one by Raymond ne and one by Malcolm ne
Any storm that has lightning becomes a funnel cloud and death is upon us all The tornado didn’t even hit my house (touched down just outside the gates of our apartment) and I’m still terrified
Mine too. I once tried to make a little joke to my mom where I hide and then be ok I’m safe from the tornado but it ended up sending me into a panic. Mine family still makes fun of me for it. I was far enough from where the tornado was and it was my brother that was actually in the area. I just wanted to make a joke but my childhood trauma from watching Twister as a child sent me into a panic attack
To the amateur storm chasers at the 6:49 mark: You were extremely lucky. You were lucky you weren't rolled, thrown, lifted, or sucked right out of your vehicle. You were lucky you were out in the open instead of a densely populated area with a lot of buildings/trees as you were spared from being impaled by debris. You were lucky this tornado was relatively weak. Had it been an EF-3 or higher at the moment you were close to it, you would have been killed.
@@MarcusDiazWX Doubt it, given the unpredictable nature of tornadoes. They can double in size or spawn a satellite tornado around the parent funnel at a moment's notice.
1:16 I like how the radio is literally talking about the tornado in front of them. 5:17 What’s funny here is that he says “It’s like a tornado out there.,” then realizes that it *is* a tornado. It’s like Mother Nature said: NO MORE LIKE ONE! NOW IT IS ONE! 7:15 “Goodbye haybales!” Me: *BUT I NEED THOSE FOR MINCERAFT…*
2:26 You see that? Never record when there is a natural disaster. Imagine that you would stand by the window, filming the tornado. And it suddenly rips off your roof. Then it’s too late. Really, your life isn’t worth it recording a tornado. I’m not English so sorry if you see grammar mistakes And yes I know this is after the tornado. Hope the person that’s recording is fine tho
a tornado once tore apart my car. i've been through three. none have done much damage to my house but ah....my cars they like quite a bit apparently. how's the clean up been going for you??
@@charlieching8179 i mean the advice still stands, i'd rather just find shelter and take cover immediantly and be wrong instead of waiting a few minutes thinking "is it actually getting bigger or am I seeing things" and then die
the video at 6:00 isnt a tornado, its a microburst of the storm that has tornado force winds and rain but theres no condensation funnel, thus not being a tornado
That first one: imagine being like on vacation like completely away from your house like overseas or something and your ring camera alerts to the sirens or something and you end up watching your house get demolished from halfway across the world 😂
Don’t joke around about this stuff! Mother Nature doesn’t control some of her issues! When you are recording the tornado the tornado gets closer that means the time isn’t really good because you will only have a few seconds. Be safe
@@alexaclappsy319 yeah still, remember to always take cover during a tornado warning, tornadoes are mega erratic and they can change paths instantly, plus, dont try to look at the tornado since most of them are pretty much wrapped by rain / at night, even if its clear and u can see it, dont hesitate to take cover
There was actually a tornado like a half an hour away from my house a couple days ago there was also a chance of a flood but I wasn't really surprised. The tornado didn't come to my town but it was close and it wasn't like a big tornado
@@christopherapplegate8636 you know big tornadoes =/= strong right? small ass tornadoes like the elie F5 can still be strong, and those are called drillbit tornadoes, stay safe
I love tornadoes but i feel bad for the people who lost their homes, their friends, their family or their life to those crazy, scary things. They are cool and all but not when it comes to you and destroys the home you love :(
Mfw half of these arent even tornados and are just strong line of straight line winds from microbursts or derecho events or just *dark skies* this is why I will never get TikTok.
*Nah since I have an INTENSE phobia of thunder and lightning I would have just cried and screamed the whole time. Thank god I live in a country that doesn’t have tornados*
I’ve only been in one tornado warning and I had to get all of my animals which some don’t like each other in one room together with only one person keeping them from killing each other and panicking ‘cause their near each other (dog, cat, bird and I feel like I had another animal at the time but I’m not sure) and I’m lucky it didn’t happen recently ‘cause I have double the animals (12) but I could only get some inside together since some of them aren’t able to live with me (that live with me are my dog, 2 cats, a bird, a ferret, and a hedgehog) and they would most likely be pissed at each other and I’d be risking my life if I heard a warning as saw/heard it ‘cause I’m not leaving any of them to die
Those people in the Second and Third video are dumb. for the second video WHY ARE YOU THAT CLOSE AND WHY DID YOU MOVE CLOSER!? for the third video WHY ARE YOU NEAR GLASS AND IN A TALL BUILDING MOVE TO THE BOTTOM FLOOR!! these people crazy!
One time a really bad storm that was close to a tornado happened in May in where I live. So what happened was if I remember, we were sleeping and the rain was so hard and the thunder was so loud that I couldn’t sleep. Then a power out happened (Which always happens at my old house). I went to go to the bathroom where my parents were in and my dad was on his phone and he said “75 mph wind happening right now!” It was quite windy outside. After I went back to bed, the storm outside was so loud I literally had to put a pillow over my head. My mom called me and my little sister to her room and what confused me was, with the wild wind, the trees… they were… perfectly still. After 20 minutes after that the storm calmed and I could go back to bed again. The next time was in August and the same year. So my dad was putting my little sister to bed and I was just chilling on my iPad listening to the rain. The rain was starting to get really hard and when I looked outside, the clouds were pitch black. I didn’t know if it was just the night sky or really heavy rain. It had to be rain because usually lights are reflecting off of the clouds at night. Aah, my favorite, a power out happened. My mom was at the state fair with her friend. But when she got home, she was soaked with rain. The storm settled and we went to bed. The next day, one of my friends said it was a little tornado. She said that it was a tornado that couldn’t take down more than a chicken coop.
Cull man is actually REALLY close and I remember the tornado went right past our house our neighbors were destroyed but we weren’t even touched crazyyy
1:32 i could tell was a fake specially after seeing it was by 9Gag as Tornados don't show up like a sudden down pour, it's a gradual build and you can see that when you watch other tornado videos especially from actual Stormchasers like Pecos Bill for example
If you don't have a basement or a safe room, a bath tub with a mattress on top of you all is literally your safest option, especially if it's in the middle of the house, it has saved people in the past.
We have had some server weather from Friday to Sunday and Early morning Monday, and Friday there was a tornado warning for a county that is like 2 hrs atleast away from the county I live in and they had it 2 times back to back then yesterday afternoon we had a tornado warning for our county and a few other county's near us (like 3 others, the 4th one came after it moved from my county and the closest county out of them) and like it was a little nerve raxking but I texted some of the friends I have phone numbers of that hey there is a tornado warning from our area to one of the other ones, and like one of my friends was at a theatre rehearsal and she said it was pretty bad were she was (and it was an older building to) and like that was fun then we just had server thunderstorms the rest of the day and I am the person who can't fall asleep when this stuff happens so I didn't go to sleep till like 4 something in the morning cause that is when all the wind and stuff ended. And from what I know there was no damage or anything luckily cause we are honestly still recovering in some places from another tornado we had a few years ago that was pretty bad and left a lot of damage and from all the hurricanes from a few years back (I live in the south, in South Georgia and when it is hurricane and tornado season we will get them but I haven't seen a hurricane yet, but since we are in the south we get a lot of bad weather, yet we seem to not be able to have or get snow). And also why do storms look so cool especially tornados and stuff like this even though they can be scary
I do know how most of these TikTok’s are real and are genuine, but the odd badly edited cgi tornado video just pops up randomly for views and to get criticised by the RU-vid and tiktok community
When you hear tornado sirens and you see the sky having a weird feel to it and you see rotation and dry moist air its already signs that you should take shelter in a bathroom with no windows or basement or storm shelter people just don't put sirens as in meaning that they just go straight to their porch and start recording its because a tornado is a threat
Some strong Darwin Award individuals here, either laughing at a tornado that could kill them, or standing around filming while acting scared but also not knowing what to do. "Should I go downstairs?"
Would have been decent vid but.... 3rd one in is fake. Adding the tornado siren audio over just about everything ruins it all. So know what your making a video about before randomly farming the internet for clips of something. Makes for a better final edit..
I love tornados, their fascinating. I remember being around 9, the tornado sirens started going off, I freaked. Luckily, we were going to my dads soccer game and the indoor soccer place in underground, everyone was ok
Sometimes i wonder: why do people drive AT the tornado, not away? (this shit is scary af) tornadoes are no joke, if you hear tornado sirens or see a tornado, please and i mean please get in a basement, a ditch, a car, or even a shelter. if your going out in some bad weather, bring a radio or something.(my opinion) be safe
1st clip: that’s a legit EF-1. You can stand in that and be ok. (According to the no damage I saw). 2nd clip. There are so many things wrong with this 1: you are WAY to close to the tornado 2:you are going TOWARDS the tornado 3rd clip:it’s normal. Can tell he storm chases 4th clip: ITS CALLED A WATER SPOUT. UT STAYS IN WATER AND DOESNT TO ON LAND. FOR GODS SAKE. YOUR OK 5th clip: I’d reccomend seeking cover. But your so high up you might have not had a chance 6th clip: that’s some EF-1 damage there. Roofs torn off. But not crazy 7th clip: tornado sirens are triggered by professional storm chasers that tell the local authorities that a supercell is most likely to produce a tornado. But supercells producing a tornado is 10-20% 8th clip: EF-4 is an overestimate. As an Ef-4. Your house would be in absolute rubble. Not even the room you are in would be safe. It would be destroyed. 9th clip: ya know what. I’m done rating these
1:34 a tornado cant just drop out like a microburst there has to be condensation that builds towards the ground following the path of the rotation in the air
Jesus Christ. . . Was it really necessary to dub in tornado sirens with almost every clip???? How eff'ing annoying can you get! ("you" being whoever put the original vid together. . . Not this YT provider).
