I remember that was also the week everything went into shutdown due to COVID 19. We just got a bunch of stuff moved out of my apartment in Oxford, Ohio early. It was my last semester of grad school at Miami University and I was the only music grad student to finish my oral exam in May while everyone else in my consortium graduated in August.
I was in Hamilton county as well when that siren went off I heard it at like 9:15-9:20 and we were in the basement of my moms boyfriends house in like a minute
I live in Norwood Ohio part of Hamilton County and I did NOT hear my siren go off here at all. Nor did my cell phone go off just the weather radio so I took cover but it did not do anything but just rain. No thunder lightning or high winds or hail.
Janet O'Connor unless there’s a problem with the siren in Norwood, it should’ve gone off, as Hamilton County activated the whole system. The warning was triggered by rotation in clouds around southwest Hamilton and northern Boone counties
