Great video. Have the same machine with all the attachments. Love it. Suggestion: Add the stand on platform. You get better control & adds counter weight.
Looks like the perfect machine for what you do. The great thing about the dingo is it's small size, light weight and soft tracks that allow you to fit virtually anywhere and drive on turf without leaving tracks or tearing it up like some of the slightly larger mini skids. It's really a great option to have even if you already have one of the larger ones because of it's light, small footprint.
a marvel of modern life. before I had the dingo I used to require a car, a house, clothing, but since I got a dingo I am truly free, invincible almost. I can only hope for an upgrade in the outhouse attachment, as I find the air filter cover to be lacking in capacity. thank you , Toro.
I rented one of these and half way through the landscaping project I realized my guys had nothing to do! Basically I had 3 guys just watching me. This machine is a time saver and money maker. Afterwards I realized I could’ve of given the guys the day off and done this alone with the dingo.
we had the grappler bucket. good for demolition. used it indoors to rip down ceiling tiles and the framing, pushes right though cinder block walls 1 block thick. i recommend the dingo with the stand on pad to ride while you work. walking behind one all day can get tiring.
Man what a machine....I am so going to get me one now, or I will see if my credit is good enough for a new one. You make all the jobs look so easy, and you really put everything together very well, I understood what you was talking about and just how to use the machine in general. thanks for taking your time and putting this video out here..it's the best video I've seen as far as showing you how the machine works..but really! thank you...Paul Maddox...Indianapolis, Indiana
I rented a vermeer and I was amazed with how much power I had. only thing I wasnt crazt about was how tall it is. but i moved about 9 yards of dirt with it and it really saved my back.
F , E & SONS LANDSCAPING herrera That's nice but we don't want to know about your wife and family all over the world. We only interested on the o dingo.
nice video! very valuable machine as far as versatility. I used one for several years back when I landscaped. it was a smaller wheeled model with turf tires(320 I believe) but I loved it. only 2 times did I have trouble with it getting stuck in muddy conditions and wish I had the tracks. I kinda preferred the wheeled version as I used the bobcat mini skidsteer with tracks and it seemed like I had to make 5 point turns to keep from chewing up the lawns. the hydraulic nursery forks were the greatest things ever. with those and the 36" auger I planted 24 2 1/2" dbh maple trees by myself at a park on one occasion. always wondered how good the backhoe attachment would work as we never had one (pricey).
update, The dingo is sweeet! digging holes for decks and fences....not a problem. hauling soil, no problem. The platform is a ? for me. so I removed it. walking behind it is just fine. She is a powerful machine for sure. very happy so far and I really don't have a ton of work for it. but has seriously dug holes so easily.
There are great machines I must admit....even the KANGA! Similar controls, I learnt on a DINGO though........10-12years ago is what I'm referring on........I drive no heavier than 25T now ;-D
I'm looking at it as a helicopter-in unit for a large Mountaintop Hollow-Bar & Grout Injection Micropile & Foundation project ... However, seeing all the other uses shows many other ways it could be helpful with custom attachments in moving items when not being used as a Drilling platform ... in some cases replacing the need for an onsite hoist. Thank You!! grabcad.com/library/gantry-crane-hoist-1 :-)
These are fantastic machines but you really have to be careful with them. I almost put myself in the hospital running one of these in high school. (had the presence of mind to take a step back and think before reacting to my mistake and making it worse) Rental units are often fitted with a large bucket, and if you're moving something dense like traffic bond, it's easy to overfill and tip the machine forward when raising to dump. They're extremely useful machines, but it is best to have some training before running one especially if you're not experienced on this type of equipment.
Before i start clearing land and building my house i've been considering buying one of these. I can get one for 8,000$ (2005 tx-425 w/ attachments) and when weekly rates for a bobcat is 600$ i think id be better off. Any chance if you know how good resell value is?
what an awesome compact machine. great reporting too. i'm dreaming of starting a trail-making business (recreational trails). would you think that this machine would be best for scraping the ground to make it nice and walkable? or, is there a less expensive option but a similar, automated machine like this i should go with?
I really like watching your equipment vids ! Is there any chance you could make a video walk around of all your machines.? And attachments including the dump truck and trailers ?
Sweet. Thanks man. Been looking at getting one of these to start a bus. Now that youve owned one, do you think you would prefer the new tx1000 that you can ride on, or do you like the walk behind version?
That's the tool for the job. You could also use a set of pallet forks to get under them and pop them out of the ground. You probably are going to need to cut some of the roots with a nursery spade before digging them out with the Dingo if they're over about four feet tall. Depending on how they look someone might come to dig them out for you and take them. Mature boxwoods are hard to find and if you can find them they cost big money.
Im in new jersey, usually just cut the grass short, spray and comeback in a week with a tiller. I ve always thought about skipping the herbicide though
***** Hmmm... not cheap here in the uk and gold lined hens teeth to find second hand... spares plentiful and attachment's very much available mind... Cheers chap... I think I need to weigh up the pros and cons on that one...
if you are using one of these to move dirt and unconcerned about how it looks afterward..use one...if you use this one a lawn, you will tear it up with those tracks..choose a wheeled vehicle like a bobcat with tires instead
The quality of the average YT video is so bad, that it's hard not to notice good-quality stuff :-). Sometimes I wonder if people think that a proper YT video NEEDS TO BE shot by somebody with Parkinson's... Seems like roughly 70% of YT shooters haven't heard of this wonderful invention called the tripod...
