Toro Greensmaster 1600 - Easiest Oil Change Ever!

Cleaned and tuned up my recently acquired Toro Greensmaster 1600. Gave it a wash, checked the oil, spark plug, filter, reel to bed knife, etc. Then I changed the oil.

Nice operation. I always like to run my equipment for a minute to warm up the oil before draining. It thins it out a bit.

Your committed now buddy!! You may need to scalp and dethatch the lawn heavily to start getting results from the reel mower. If you do it all at once it will green up and be back in a few weeks. Good Luck!!

Check the gap on the spark plug against the Toro spec. They are usually not correct when brand new unless the person installing it knew to do it.

Using paper is a simple way to check the reel to bedknife contact and make sure it's slicing paper all the way across or if any adjustments need to be made.
