Wonderful video. It's remarkable to see such huge birds so apparently calm and tolerant of humans touching their eggs and chicks. Are they used to researchers approaching and handling them like that, or are they simply unaccustomed to large predators?

+Taradoxxi yes, they are used to rangers being out in the colony regularly interacting them by protecting chicks, weighing and measuring chicks, setting up irrigation if it's too hot and also doing pest control and other management activities. I think they probably think the rangers are part of the colony by now. :)
