I really like this string. It's very similar to Head Hawk 18 (the regular, not Head Hawk Touch) and Solinco Outlast 18. Enso has excellent slickness and snapback, even better than those two (which are fantastic at that -- see Tennis Warehouse numbers that back this up). Moderate power for a poly--not launchy. As compared to Head Hawk 18, it feels less stiff and dead, gives more feedback; whether that's a good or bad thing for you will be a matter of taste. Great tension maintenance, despite the softer feel. Does notch much faster than Head Hawk and will not last quite as long as Hawk and Outlast, but those are insanely long-lasting, so not quite matching them isn't a negative. Another string this is similar to is 4G Soft in terms of feel and durability, but Enso is much softer (4G Soft is only "soft" as compared to regular 4G) and has much better snapback. This would be a good choice if you are using 4G Soft and want something softer, or you are using Hawk and want something a little softer and a lot cheaper. I'm not a Toroline fanboy; I don't like Wasabi (too plasticky). But this is good string. Kudos to Torline for making a first-rate round string. The recreational string market is flooded with shaped strings because too many people think that shaped strings will give them magical spin. So many higher level players and pros use round strings (4G, Alu Power, etc.) ... shaped strings are not the only game in town, folks.

I've been doing that for a while with the wasabi pink and Enso Pro in pink and it works really well. It's like a controlled version of wasabi and wasabi X

@@januarius3361 I think the wasabi pro hybrid (wasabi and wasabi X) is more comfortable and powerful but less durable compared to the Wasabi/Enso Pro. Enso Pro comes in 1.24 (pink) and 1.25 (gray) so it lasts a bit longer and offers more control but still a soft setup due to wasabi being on the mains. If you also try out K-Pro (wasabi and caviar), that's probably the stiffer and more control out compared to the other two hybrids.

It also depends on which color you choose for wasabi and Enso. For me, the gray wasabi was the stiffest color out compared to pink and green. I've been using wasabi and Enso Pro both in pink, but I'll definitely give the gray wasabi and gray Enso Pro a try soon

@@alwayscausingaracquet oh yeah, i have a mini reel of gray wasabi, so at this point i’m just nitpicking which cross i like best. i’ve had k-pro in my ezone 98 at 48 lbs, 4.5 tennis. i like it. i know that caviar isn’t completely round, so i just wanted to see if either enso pro or wasabi x would be better. i got enso pro pink and wasabi x neon blue. so you’d say caviar is the stiffest, and wasabi x the softest, with enso pro in the middle?
