The City of Toronto saw the biggest single day snowfall in a decade on Monday, and that meant a whole lot of shovelling for residents on Tuesday. Pam Seatle with how Torontonians fared with the big clean up.
@@jchin9277 *One* day of snow this winter - and the next 4 days are around +4 degrees with rain - so it will all wash away and out come the roller blades again ;)
Two days ago, the temperature was - 24 Fahrenheit. Right now it is 47. Global extremes.. Everything weather related will be extremely potent going forward.
Take note Americans. This was a bigger than usual snowfall. Yet we Canadians take it in stride, unlike you folk that just die in -15°C and with 3 inches of snow. 😂☠
In Michigan we take it in stride. The cold was a bit more than we're used to, but snow is completely normal. With lake effect, 30 cm of snow happens most years at some point. -20 C for the high in the middle of the day was a little unusual though. It happens a lot in like northern Minnesota, but Michigan is normally a bit milder than that. A normal year there's a few nights where the low gets down to -20 C, but only for an hour or so when it's very calm and clear. For it to stay below -20 C all day was kind of jarring to the senses, especially with the stiff wind and constant blowing/drifting snow.
Bruh why ur comparing Canadian cities with some Texan cities that never got any snow before? Here in upstate ny got 200 inches last season. Buffalo got 9 feet of snow in just one storm. And that’s what a major Canadian cities got? 10 to 12 inches? Even nyc and Boston handle better than u folk smh
Take note Canadian, u guys are just taking advantage of temperature that makes snow harder to melt, that’s why u ppl seems to get a lot but that’s for the whole season. In northeast ,12 inches is like a normal day and pls look up some of the snowfall we have in a single storm. Don’t just act like a fool.
Used to be like this for two months stright 20 years ago. Was cold enough long enough to make ur own ice rink in ur back yard. Now it only dips perodicly, then goes back up in a few days.
Lol it is right here. This is a polar vortex, cases by the jet stream slowing down. The jet stream slows down when there no longer as large of a temperature difference. The arctic is warming, reducing the temp difference and causing this weather.
This is why I don't understand Metric. 30cm is waayyyyyyyyyyy smaller then 30in. Try digging out from 30-40in then you can complain. 30cm is like 15inchs. big deal.
