My school generally uses old versions of o Canada played by the schools old band (early 2000s), or a very extra guitar guy. This was a lot more heart thumping when I heard it during cadet annual review.
My son's teacher plays this version of O'Canada, and today was my first time seeing the video. I thought it was pretty neat that I actually have a photo with one of the ladies in the video! Beautiful version of O'Canada, I find it stuck in my head all morning ♡
Asani, an Aboriginal womens a cappella group from Edmonton, Alberta, present a stirring rendition of "O, Canada," re-imagined to reflect the myriad peoples who call Canada their homeland. The group Asani hails from Alberta, Canada. They are: Debbie Houle, Sarah Pocklington, and Sherryl Sewepagahan. Here, Asani performs the Canadian National Anthem in the groups unique style.

Уважаемый народ индейского племени! Вы украшение природы, вы очень красивый народ. Главное, не теряйте свои народные традиции, песни, танцы, бытовой уклад. Только это спасет вашу культуру. Мы поддерживаем вас, вы наши братья!
We aren’t Indian they mistaken us for being Indian but we are native Canadian we are First Nations but thank you for acknowledging us I get pissed when that racial slur to our people is used
@@storyshiftchara1291 yes at school I'm called Indian, it makes me very mad like I'm always reminging people that there's a huge difference between Indian an inuit (by school I mean the whole school district)
