The Toronto Raptors announced Monday that they'll be retiring Vince Carter's no. 15 on November 2nd, and you simply can't be Raptors fan and not have a take on it! The first time I saw him playing in Toronto, and realized that he was just...different. Like Doc different, like Jordan and 'Nique different, just so athletically gifted you had to pay attention to him. If a typical player makes a move and VC makes the same move, Vince will just make it look so much cooler.

Yes its the right thing to do. VC put the raptors on the map, likely saved the team from being sold, and influenced a generation of canadian players and kids. Haters need to get over it. Kyle will of course get his number retired, who cares thats it not the first? Its based on when they played.. VC being first doesnt mean kyle isnt still the GROAT

VC was the first star of the franchise, that 15 jersey with the dino is worn everywhere. If it weren't for him we'd end up like the Grizzlies, meaning not in Vacouver anymore. Kyle isn't even retired yet, I don't agree he should be first, he will be eventually.

Don't care for the sorry. We got a championship doing it the right way and limited dunking. VC gets HOF and retirement jerseys which promotes Raptors and the ring is better.

Best Raptor ever? He wasn’t even first option with those stacked Raptor teams he was on. Vince Carter is the Raptors. He personifies everything Raptors. Management failed VC. You’re looking at another “Gizzlies” franchise had VC not been in Toronto. Let’s face it, VC was their first and only superstar to this day. They only had All stars since VC. So stop with this bs. Had VC stood with the Raptors franchise for his entire career, none of those ex raptors players have close to the numbers VC had put up. Kyle Lowry? Lol 😆 good player but definitely no caliber like a Vince Carter.

I mean, it's pretty inarguable Kyle has the best Raptors career of anyone to play for the team, and anyone who is actually a fan of the team agrees on that. And he was the best player on every one of his Raptors teams aside from the Kawhi year. Vince was more purely talented sure, but also won one playoff series and quit on the team before getting traded. So yeah, Kyle is the best Raptor ever. Vince is also great! And as I said pretty clearly in the show, there's nothing wrong with him getting his number retired, so I don't really see what the problem is here.
