Wall came to get assists.He was an amazing playmaker.That and Beal's shooting won the game.But Wall was less efficient than Demar and Kyle in terms of shooting,don't act like he was Lebron out there.The guy is 52% true shooting last 3 years,that's TERRIBLE.That's worse than the kings, worst shooting team in the league this year!
Ive been a raptors fan since they first came in the league. Been through the ups and downs. Raptors fans just have to admit that the Raptors are the type of team, say the Orlando Magic of this year was the 8th seed, it would go to a 7 game series. If the Raptors actually make it out of the East, i'm betting every series will go to 7. I never cared about the regular season. I just wanted to see them make the playoffs and actually win the first game in the series. Which they have actually done. This 10/29 shooting seems to me like the Raptors have fallen back into their old habits of not moving the ball, or holding it too long, and giving it to Derozan/Lowry to take a contested shot. I'd bet big money without even watching this game that's what happened this game. I think this series is a toss up. So the next game is on wednesday? I'll watch and give another dissertation then

No excuses this game, we had a 14 point lead at the start of the 2nd half and still managed to lose this game because of turnovers and allowing the wizards to score and gain momentum. We also desperately need Vanvleet to be playing. It's tough being a raptors fan man.

Inside NBA crew disagree, they were saying refs should have given derozan an and-1 near the end,and Lowry got hit a couple times at the end too. I agree overall raps got a couple extra calls,and that Beal 6th foul looked bad on replay,tho in real time probably looked like a bump and trip, but Oubre was flopping all over the place too,JV and Poeltl got some bullshit calls on them,it went both ways.
The Raptors coach is on record saying "The Wizards aren't your average 8th seed". He didn't catch as much flak as D'antoni when on his statements regarding Houston's success not being measured by a championship. In both incidents the "Leader, the coach" was very passive in their approach. Ultimately the Rpators may get past the Wizards, however, I don't envision them winning in the second round. They could go 7 against Indiana if they beat Cleveland.
Washington isn’t your typical 8th seed that’s what people fail to realize. 2 all stars in Wall and Beal and Wall was out for 41 games. Wizards were a 3rd seed when Wall got hurt and now he’s back. Wizards did what they had to do, defend home court. However this was a winnable game for Toronto, DD shot 18 free throws and Beal fouled out with 4 minutes left in the game. But Toronto reverted back to their old ways down the stretch playing iso and hero ball.
Honestly I rather see the Wizards vs the Cavs because they entertain the matchup. Raptors would just say something along the line like " Bron is the best and there's nothing we can do about it"
Lol if you watch more than just the highlights, you'll know that this game was reffed terribly for both sides. That's not an excuse for Toronto to turn off, like they do under any sort of pressure, but it's not a conclusive game whatsoever.
let these wizards fans enjoy the moment....whether we win in 6 or 7 doesn't really matter...we are making it to the next round...it would of been nice to have the extra couple rest days for round 2 but this will have to do.
