Toronto and Vancouver’s housing markets are in a slump - trending down.
This means things are shifting from a seller’s market, seen at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, to something closer to a buyer’s market.
In fact, the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board revealed Thursday that last month’s 4,912 sales were almost half of the 9,339 homes that changed hands the July before and are an indication that the market is easing from the frenzied pace seen in the first half of the year and at the end of 2021.
Plus, Tim Hortons offers app users coffee and a donut following a privacy breach.
The coffee chain said the settlement, negotiated with the legal teams involved in the lawsuits, still requires court approval.
Brett Chang from The Peak Podcast joins Global’s Anne Gaviola for more on these topics and much more.
