@@graham2sexy955 sadly Graham there not negative far from it I was born here I only speak the facts if u find my comments negative don't read them While Torbay is lovely in the summer the winter is a whole different story maybe look up Larry Grayson life on here it's not paradise I thought it was in the winter it's cold wet and nobody about No money has been put in for regeneration Torquay is now a no go area most locals will tell u that just full of addicted drinker's and drug takers Maybe Torbay needs to follow LONDON and have a congestion charge make money for the bay
I was a deck hand on the Western Lady that was based in Brixham , and went too TorQuay , then Up the River Dart , it was about 1976 , I was 16 at the time , born and Raised in Torbay , One of the best jobs I ever had , pay was Dire , but hey the Skipper let me take the wheel at sea , loved it , my elder brother was a deck hand too , until he managed too lasoo a Crockle with the lead line while pulling into the harbour , it’s so sad what’s happened too Torbay and especially TorQuay , like what was in comments , what was once beautiful is now so dire , lovely memories of the past thou .thanks for the memories.
