Hi Ian hope you're well, what an interesting place with plenty of history attached. We been to Torquay but not Totnes definitely add it to our to do list. Great video with nice image quality. Best wishes stay safe Jon
It’s not far from the beach. On the other side of the road, going away from the beach. Have you ever been to Trago Mills? Unbelievable shopping area with cafes and restaurants. A little drive out to Newton Abbott, but free and a daft little miniature train ride. Very cheap in the shop as well. Also, the Hole in the Wall. The oldest pub in Torquay. I have a ‘shortie’ on it so I’ll upload it for you to see. Again, not far from the clock roundabout, up the road from the beach.
I have been to Totnes and visited the castle. But I have never been to Torquay, so I watched this video. I must say the camera coped well with the indoor lighting conditions and changes in illumination very well with no very dark places or over exposures! The only thing I don't like about the camera is it is too much like Google street view! As I understand it, Henry VIII didn't want to destroy the monestaries. It was the Protestant Reformers purported to be Henry's men, and Henry did not dare say he did not support them! Thanks for uploading.
