Today we traded snow for rain. In south Florida the weather forecasted 95% chance of rain. We can 100% assure you it rained! Today's game only worth watching if you are interested in watching a bunch of soaking wet 10 year olds try to figure out how to move a ball through a field filled with puddles, and mud. Pretty much anything they have ever learned and practiced about soccer needed to be discarded, and instead just battle the best they could in the elments handed to them. Needing only a tie to advance DME Academy survived the rain fest and advance to the Semi-Finals of the Weston Cup with a 0-0 draw. Game played 2/18/2024.
