Hi Christian, the fact which is important here, blues fans don't like "jazz in blues" thing, therefore, the song starts with C9 (simple blues chord), at 0:43 we can hear "the fact blues fans hate", instead of simple blues chord changes in key of C, where we expect G7 or G9, bassist & synth-man play C9 / Bb9(or 13) / Am7 #5 (to be sure: G, C, F / over A as basic) D7 #9 G7 #9 #5(break) ...from 0:52 to 1:30 you can here "blues" :-) again, but at 1:30 we have very interesting chord (for pop/rock/blues fans totally "sordid"), the chord is F# 13 #11 or just F# #11 (in jazz-slang) , next one is F9 and the break in C9 ("That's was the day...") Want to explain about : F# #11 ( E, Ab, C / over F# as basic. If you play piano, full chord is: E, Ab, C, Eb / F# )................at 1:58 starts a solo, synth-man play: B13 sus4 or to be easier to catch and understand: ( Ab maj7 / B ) at 2:03 again C9.....you have these two chords all the way to 2:31, when changes are D7 #9 G7 #9 #5...........at the very end, at 3:44 we can hear usual ending-chord in "Jazzy Blues" songs, which is in this case C13 #11 ( Bb, D, F#, A / C) Torsten plays over this chord very interesting. He uses G melodic minor scale over C13 #11, very short moment(3:46), but I caught up the melody lines. Yeahhh.....hehe.
