This is Mel Rose and Welcome back to my RU-vid Channel. 🫢 For today’s video, magluluto po tayo nang TORTANG SAYOTE. 🤤 Yes, you read it right, sayote ang ito-TORTA natin. 😅 Actually, sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansang Pilipinas marami na ang gumagawa nito. Pero, for me! Ito pa lang ang unang beses na nagluto ako nito. 🤣😁 And it’s so good. TRY NIYO NA DIN! ❤️🤭
INGREDIENTS:
1 piece of Sayote
1 piece of Onion
4 cloves of Garlic
2 pieces of Eggs
Cooking Oil, Salt & Ground Pepper
HOW TO COOK & PREPARE:
•First of all, prepare your stove or kalan and the cooking pan.
•Peel off the skin of the sayote and cut it into thin sliced. Don’t forget to wash the sayote after slicing it.
•Also sliced the onion and garlic.
•Now, let’s pre-heat our cooking pan.
•Add small amount of cooking oil.
•Add the sliced onion and sauté it, afterward add the sliced garlic and syempre sauté it too. 🤪
•Then add the thin sliced sayote and mix it well. Upon mixing add small amount of salt and ground pepper and mix it well and let it fry for about 45 seconds.
•After that, set aside the sayote and let it cool for 60 seconds.
•Now, let’s add 2 eggs on our sayote mixture and mix it together. 🫢
•Let’s put the cooking pan again and add cooking oil. Pre-heat the oil first, before adding the mixture.
•You can put the mixture now. Remember DO NOT BURN IT; JUST SET THE STOVE FIRE ON LOW HEAT.
•It’s like FRYING other torta recipe. 😁
