This is really a quick and proven successful recipe for days when you are in a hurry. You can choose chicken or veal for the meat, and we used veal today. Fine and juicy Mexican tortillas.
THE INGREDIENTS WE USE:
veal (amount depending on how many people you are preparing for)
tortilla shells
vegetables: red pepper, green pepper, onion
Greek yogurt 150 gr
yogurt 100 ml,
garlic granules
saffron (also parsley or chives)
spices: salt, pepper, dry spice
tortilla mix canned vegetables
RECIPE:
✅ Cut the veal into very small cubes and season with a little oil and salt. Leave in the refrigerator until use
✅ Immediately prepare the dressing for the tortillas. Add 150 g of Greek yogurt, 100 ml of yogurt, half a teaspoon of granulated garlic and, if desired, saffron, parsley or chives to the bowl. Mix everything and add a little salt.
✅ We will fry the veal for 15 minutes, about halfway through the frying process, add a little butter
✅ After 15 minutes, add the vegetables that we chopped earlier and fry for an additional 15 minutes
✅ When it is almost ready, add the canned tortilla mix, mix everything well and combine. Season with: salt, pepper, dry spice.
✅ Cover and leave for just 2 minutes to combine everything and our filling for tortillas is ready
✅ Prepare home-made or store-bought crusts for tortillas that we can warm up a little. Fill them with the filling we prepared and cover with the filling we made earlier. Fill as much as desired.
