The Tortoise, specifically designed to be a massively-armored rolling bunker for assault purposes, with a 32pdr that tested very well against a Panther at nearly a thousand yards. Or to put that in War Thunder terms: it ain't Russian or German, so it's about as easy to one-shot as something with a third the armor and the gun hits like a pillow.
Nah, he is right, in WT british tanks are lame, only good thing for over 6 BR is tetrarch with it's great mobility, average cannon and especially high rewards for kills. (tho tortoise is actually fun if you don't get into 7.7BR battles). I kind of wonder why it has that mg turret, causes about 80% of deaths.
@@punisher3607 Though better because of the mobility, reload, traverse rate, firing arc and a lot more. The T95 is better on paper, but the 9 sec reload on the Torty has saved me a lot more times than the APHE filler on the Doom Turtle.
20 minutes to get to the area where everyone is at, another 50 minutes to get yourself in a half decent camp spot 10 minutes to position yourself juuuust right and 0.1 second to get one tapped from across the map.
Others find it annoying but i love it when a bomber fully commits on crashing into you just to secure the kill, that means you upset that pilot so much they wasted their entire plane on one tank. You can taste their angry tears xd
Yeah I’ve become strongly of the opinion that being able to see what you’ve knocked out on the enemy tank is one of the biggest problems with WT, aside from the ballistics being nonsensical ofc. Like no one would really know if they killed your gunner or not. At least wouldn’t have track and barrel torture.
Yeah, but I don't think many British players ever get pass most of the hell without spending money. I would know, I've been playing for 300+ hours and I'm still stuck at rank IV.
@@asiangaemr8147 brits have plenty of good midrange tanks only limited by awkward ammo - i had a grand time in achilles, comet and avenger; charioteer and concept 3 are literally broken cent 3 and caernarvon also pretty good but then you do get ballcrushed when everyone else gets stabs and godawful swingfire doesn't help
@@Klovaneer At 5.7 you literally have a lineup of 5/6 17-pdr tanks Challenger, Comet, Avenger, Firefly, Comcept 3 and Achilles. It is disgustingly good, and the fact that you have so much pen - for me at least - more than compensates for the lack of he-filler since you can utalize weakspots no other allies can. For example, the APDS shell for the Challenger and Comet can both go through the UFP of the Panther, and kill an IS-2 effectively anywhere except absurd angles.
That last death was rather hilarious. Random t44 kills the turtle in a single shot from half a continent away. If this was reality - the ruskies gun sight would show a blurred image past 200 meters.
And if anybody is wondering about that little exhaust on the left side. That's the starting motor for the main motor. They usually used motorcycles motors and often from JAWA 250 :D
The more I watch you suffer the more I'm glad I got to high tier when I did and I'm now done with this mess of a game. Keep up the memes man, can't wait to see you hit 200k!
Has anyone noticed lately that shots on your barrel almost always destroy it but your shots on other barrels tend to just bounce off? Whats up with that? Did Gaijin screw up something again? xD
Apparently, there was a Mosquito variation that tested carrying a 32pdr which is the gun on the Tortoise here. One of these days I'm gonna see if there are any plans or pictures of this aircraft.
Remember: Type 75 SPH player had to "enjoy" through the rest of japanese tanks to get where he is. Same deal with British and French: their tanks suck. But players don't.
there tanks dont suck, ok well japanese ones yeah. some british tanks are extremly OP lol. the centrion mk1, black prince, cen mk 3 and 10 and the cromwell 1 are very very good tanks.
Gaijin be like "So, it was impressively armored at the front and had a 94 mm gun? So, basically, you're saying it can't take out anything above 4 battle rating, and blows up if so much as a machinegun touches it's track? You got it!"
