Amazing tip for all groups containing Warlocks. Demonic Gateway when used causes a debuff that significantly reduces the threat generated by the player for 15 seconds. Healers and other high threat players should take the gateway prior to bats to prevent getting globalled. Demonic Teleport can be used by a Lock to guarentee they will be in position for turtle kicking. After killing a turtle simply place the teleport, and be sure to be within 40 yards of it when nearing an interrupt. :) GL!
I'm a hunter and I still keep the crystal after a quake at times. I really didn't look hard enough at this vid to see what caused it but I would say there are certain healer cd's that are mitigating the dmg enough to leave the shell up.
I main a 538 Prot pally and I can stand by the fact that we rock healing charts ;D Especially on vengeance fests like H-Tort and H-Horridon... also H-Iron Qon
I believe that the bats works kinda like the adds on Grand empress Gary. Is you stun them, their melee swing timer gets rested. I'm not entierly sure tho
@MrWolschmi @halseyhutch Yes its weakauras...the elemental shaman had one and shared with the rest of us. @DrHarukoPhD, The DK is normally blood and has bad dps gear(this in addition to him never dps'ing and having to chase turtles) @Jacob Heck The footage will pretty much always be from Alex and Loz (hunter and prot pala) as the rest of us don't really record. Its a good idea for the healers to make a weak aura to track the tanks shield aswell as the shield amount is otherwise hard to track.
Since the tank has a shield, it counts as healing (healing & absorbs) So the healing is not really that big he just doesnt take any dmg for some time:)

Simmer down there hard charger, the tank was doing 200k dps because not only was he attacking the boss he was doing aoe on the bats and gaining vengeance from the bats and tortos. Not to mention every time a turtle is kicked anything it passes through takes 20% increased damage as was stated. If you were such an elite player then you would realize simple facts. I have been playing since the beta for WoW and while the game has changed each expansion has added their own change to the game.
something i noticed about yur m8s in this fight. isnt it better to just /focus the crystal and put an attack to fo focus so u dont need 2 switch targets? smae with tanks imo could make tanking the bass/kiting bats really easy
As they have a paladin tanking, no way you should ever go for any avoidance stats. Just stack haste like crazy and enjoy the benefits of shield of the righteous..
Question: Are you still able to solo tank with a paladin since the vengeance nerf? (I saw in the video you, Nimtaz, have 625k which was really close to the 500k point for the bats.) Or did Vengeance have little to do with it? Sincerely, Prot Paladin
Step 1. Hit Crystal to get "Shield" (Whilst the "Shield" Debuff is up, you take no direct healing) Step 2: Healers heal the fuck out of you so your shield is large. Step 3: Shield gets absorbed by the Quake Stomp/Any other damage. Pro Tip: Use it north of 90% and try hard to never let it fall off.
is this vid out dated?? the hunter seems to keep the shield up even after the quake? should quake not remove the shield+ 25% hp? shield should be 75% maxed and quake does 100% of your normal hp
Fun fact: the shells are COMPLETELY broken when it comes to holy priest mastery. I guess it's some shit like the hot stacks infinitely. But it only seems to work that way when the shell is already at max absorb, so all it does is overheal. So it does neither help not hurt, but I sure was surprised to have done 99.9% of the overheal. in numbers that was 19.9 BILLION. in ten tries...
They have 2 pallies. 1 is the tank. 1 is the healer. Now likely the prot is at the top of the dmg meter (dmg, not dps) and the healer is at the top of heals.... coz a prot cant out heal a holy.....
Well.... no. MoP has fewer dungeons than any expansion to date, and currently has 28 raid encounters. Cata had only 30 total, but WotLK had 47. Scenarios are interesting, I suppose, but don't add much to the content. Add in a decent sized continent and two islands, one new race and one new class, it's a decent amount of content, but it can't beat either of the last two yet. 5.4 will probably push it over Cata, but it can't beat WotLK for volume of new content. It is GOOD content though :)
Love your guides, but why give a link to normal mode and then go on to repeat the entire fight? And you do this on the other heroics too. Just focus on heroic mechanics and strategic changes and we'll get on with our merry lives in 5 minutes instead of 15 ;)
"as a rogue you can't reach them initialy" thats not right, you can use a /target "bat" macro and tricks > Shadowstep > Fok them, if you're ultrahax you can also redirekt 5 points and use ae bleeding finisher and 1 fok, you would support a non-paladin tank very well with that. Also as a prot warri this macro is usefull, because you could see what jelly heal has the aggro and you can interven and clap.. usw etc. Fatboss, your Guides are the bests, we try this boss on friday. hopefully we kill him
so when the turtles spawn kick them and attack the other turtles and when you are done with that go nuke mama turtle and make ur useless dps slow the baby turtles... at this point its GG

I stopped paying for it since cataclysm .I don't regret paying for the game untill Wotlk .Because damn it was worth it.But now wow became the most contentless,boring,clicheeical MMORPG of all time .I'm glad i quit it ...
