Earlier they translate that as “deep thinker.” It seems maybe they are implying that “deep thinker” and “big talker” are somehow related ideas. Or, they intentionally mistranslated it to make the subtitles more interesting than they otherwise would have been, because they didn’t want to reshoot the scene with a new script. Either way, it is a strange choice that they translated the same word in two such different ways.

In spanish isn't sounds menacing and isn't that obvious he was gonna be murdered, they translated talker with filósofo, should be hablador or boca floja, sounds more like being a rat than filósofo.

I live everything about this scene. The tortoise (the actual animal) is so adorable. Danny Trejo doesn't even have to be the best actor in the world, he just has this... aura, that makes me just go "holy crap it's Danny Trejo".
