You can use two lobster claps to hold the chain from inside of the bag at proper length so you can use it as a handheld bag. I’ve tried it and it works very well. Enjoy your bag. It’s so beautiful and versatile.

I recently got this bag and totally love it! Except the snap closure is bit painful to get it to close. Have you had this issue?

I haven’t! I find it to snap shut easily since it’s magnetic.
