Felt like the interviewers were trying to dominate the conversation too much with irrelevant information. It also seemed like the interviewer with the hat was talking too much and trying to provoke him. Jokes seemed forced in the interviewers part and seemed a lil superficial.
Rosenberg: You could "sing" sing, but then you have songs where you could "rap" rap...it would be hard for me to describe it in an elevator pitch. ^ Yea, because everyone in the industry fits in a tiny ass box.
Tory Lanez seems like a pretty genuine guy and he's big, but not yet lil Wayne Jay z big so he's maintained his grounded attitude. I hope he stays this way. Being as confident as a rapper should be, but not annoyingly arrogant like a Megastar
As long as you do it with respect and not mock them the people whose language you are doing in, it will be good. Do it as respect, that's the main, because it will backfire if not. Get Snow Tha Product, Cryptic Wisdom, Hi-Tone, Kid Frost and so on, all know Spanish and English and are dope. Salute, best to you brother.
Hot 97 have to make a decision soon and let Laura conduct the interview by herself. Ebro & Rosenberg let their bias and judgmental ways ruin interviews!! It’s time for a new voice.
the album is incredible. it’s early in the year and there’s still a lot of music left to be dropped, but i wouldn’t be surprised to see Tory at the Grammys
Álbum a 9/10, definitely better than I told you, people saying it’s wack, we aren’t listening to the same album then lmao, but nah we’re all entitled to our opinion.
Reek High Tory bit off everyone except that dude. If you don’t believe me quote the exact bar he stole & as you type it you’ll realize he didn’t . But if we talkin drake an Travis Scott it’s facts
Maybe I'm in the minority and I think Uzi Vert isn't that great. He makes generic repetitive trap music wit an annoying high pitch voice. I much rather listen to Yachy than Uzi. Teenage Emotion isn't the best album ever but I much rather listen to that than Luv is Rage 2. Y'all sheep and y'all like wat everybody else likes. If I want to listen to a rapper wit a weird high pitch voice it would be Young Thug not Uzi. Uzi's music makes my ears bleed.
You could be learning something I only like Life Goes On and XO Tour Life and I don't like the rest of his music. Uzi got this new song called Mood which is terrible but everybody thinks it's good. I think I only like Uzi on features but I don't like the rest of his songs. I don't understand Ebro saying Uzi got bars, even in dat old Wu Tang song he rapped over he just impressed wit his flow not bars. I don't hate the new age music but I don't understand the appeal of Uzi or 21 Savage. If I want to listen to fun playful music I much rather listen to Yachty or if I want weird vocal melodies I listen to Thug. Also if I want to hear gutter gangsta music I listen to Chief Keef than boring monotone 21 Savage.
Shady B Im not calling Uzi Vert or even 21 Savage garbage, I like 21 on Rockstar and I was surprised how melodic he was but dats besides the point, but in the interview Ebro is talking like Uzi Vert is such a great melodic new age rapper and I think its bullshit. The overhyping of Uzi Vert doesnt make sense, cause to me he isnt as great as everybody makes it out to be. Uzi Vert performs well on his features like that song he did wit Playboi Carti and Nav but I dont get dat same energy when he does songs on his own. I can name Travis Scoot, Future, Young Thug, Quavo and so many others that are more melodic than Uzi Vert, plus to me his music isnt dat great to merit all this praise. XO Tour Life is a great song but what other song by Uzi individually is really dat great.
