Kresse,Johnny and Tory only Johnny was able to break away from Kreese but Tory is still young and is easily influenced. I think everyone can understand her but only in season 5 she wants to break away from Cobra Kai and Robby also suffered from it and now the same thing again.

You know it actually helps to fight for something than against someone? Chozen says in Season 5 that Daniel won because he was fighting for village. Having motivation like that actually makes you stronger in Cobra Kai. Her being angrier also means she can channel more anger into her fists because her dominant style is still Cobra Kai. Also it was about to be 2-2 even though I think this is the closest Tory has gotten to winning against Sam
She was upset and totally understandable. But the fact that she joined Kreese again is annoying, they could have thought something else for her character. What a waste. Daniel did the right thing stopping the fight. Sam was trying to follow the rules while Tory wanted to use her to let off steam, not caring she could seriously hurt her (in fact, although she earned a point, she kicked her anyway, and everyone was like “WTF?” Sam was all too good to say “it’s ok I’m fine” she wasn’t. But still kept fighting. Sam’s character grew up.
She'll end up disappointed again. Kreese is a master manipulator, this is how he got Johnny on his side too initially, most likely. Let's hope she makes the right decision later down the line

I don’t agree with Devon action, Johnny and Daniel tension, or Mr Miyagi past, but Tory is understandable. This way Hawk is in, and it makes story better since Tory in CK. I don’t think she will follow blindly like b4, she’s not hostile towards them, but it’s her best shot since she’s captain in CK. It be like Robby season 4, with a bit more anger bc mom, but less hostile towards Miyagi fang since her bf and friends are in there.
@@khuechuong Ok, Tory, I understand her frustration, but going back to CK was stupid move on the writers end. All of that development especially in the 5th season was basically nullified at the very end of this episode. I love the show, and season 5 made me really love the story, but this season just tarnished everything. The only thing they didn’t destroy was the reconciliation of Miguel and Robby.

It was Amanda’s idea to stop the fight not Daniel’s idea again I can understand how much pain Tory was in it’s never easy to lose someone that you love it can be a lot of heartache and pain inside you when someone dies!
Larusso interference shows the faults in Miyagi Do... The learning is not perfect, no one really is. Daniel stopped the fight because he was concerned for her mental health, but Tory had nothing left and the only way to move forward is to fight... They taken her only chance to fight fair and she has to join her old master that she really hates.

I understand that she could be upset by the death of her mother but from there to having almost seriously injured Sam at the Ribs. Daniel did well to stop otherwise it could have gone very badly even if Johnny is not completely wrong on certain points. I'm disappointed with the ending

Sam never lost to Tory when it mattered. The theme is clear here and stays true to life. Sam is at her best when conquering her emotions. Tory is a slave to her emotions. She has yet to learn another way. And Tory hasnt realize that Sam was about to embarass her in this fight.
You know, I absolutely loved these five episodes this season; I love it when they surprise the audience and go in a different direction than you might expect at times, but still: why the heck would you want to go back to someone who you fought so hard against recently and especially to a group where a person pretty much forced you to virtually break your hand? That made so sense. But like Daniel said, she wasn’t in the right headspace because of her grief.
They totally regressed Tory so her mother dies and she goes back to CK with a team she has 0 connection with any of the Korean students, why would she rejoin Kim after what she did to Tory physically and mentally? The writers despise Tory and are clutching at straws, They will never let Tory beat Sam so what's the point? Tory is just gonna lose at the tournament again like she always does. Her S4 win was tainted and her mother passes away, she has been so badly treated it's insane, they literally had Tory's mother die as an excuse so Sam could be team captain, how sad is that? Sam is the most protected character by far.
That ending I saw it coming and I knew it and I enjoyed it I get both sides of the fight of not wanting to tory to fight because of how much anger she has in her Also tory wanting to fight because she promised her mom to and to always thrive through it.

According to the writers they always planned for Tory’s life to start going good and then it crashes all down on her. Kreese going after Tory makes sense. She was his champion all the way back in Season 3.

@JustinChristopher-ov7gw Yeah. I feel if they start off Episode 6 with say a flashback to it (since obviously they wanted to not put it in episode 5 because plot twist) I think it can work. With Kim Da-Eun I’m intrigued by how it worked out. Tory called her a psycho bitch sidekick to Kreese. But Kim Da-Eun may not share the same spite for Tory if she sees how committed she is (With Terry, Tory was not committed at all). I imagine Tory mainly just ignored Kim as Kreese would’ve kept her safe if Kim tried to do anything.
Honestly i would of let Tory fight. This was just yet another sam favorite trip. I get why Tory went back if anything to my parents the way Tory did. I would of been the same way.

Okay, they handled this entirely the wrong way. Should they have stopped that round? Yes, Tory was going to throw Sam off the damn mat at the rate they were going. Should they have stopped the whole match? No. Daniel should’ve said to stop the round and each go back to their side so he and Johnny can talk privately in the dojo. Now that they talk without screaming and punching each other, they can find the best way to handle this… which would probably just be let the match continue, but with a more watchful eye so Tory doesn’t accidentally hurt Sam.
it’s 50-50 with family death u have to do things to take ur mind off of it, doing nothing and constantly thinking about it will make u worse mentally pretty bad, working out, talking with someone u close with with will help fighting probably isn’t the best idea but tory was still working through it, karate is something she is really good at and that was taking her mind off it, the 2second they stopped the fight, she started panicking
Tory is punished every season it's so unfair she loses to Sam in every fight from season 2-6, they couldn't even let Tory win fair and square for once in S4, Kim tortured her mentally, beat her up and made her bust her hand in S5, all the stuff with her aunt and they couldn't even let Tory win the fight in S6 the bias is crazy I am fuming, Tory loses her mother, and they make her rejoin CK after what Kim Da Eun did to her? she didn't even train with them in Korea what a joke, the writers really don't like her. Tory never won 1 big fight on the show, she never beat anybody which is so sad she was a trained kickboxer, showed some grappling in S2 and then learned Cobra Kai. Tory and Sam was never a rivalry, my idea of a rivalry is something competive, back and forth, you win one, I win one, Sam won every time which is nonsense because she only learned basics as a kid and quit for 9 years, Tory is much bigger, faster, stronger, more athletic and more aggressive etc, there is 0 realism cause Tory would demolish her in a real fight.
