Tosh was diagnosed with an ultra rare disease known as Hunter Syndrome, or MPS II, in September of 2011. In 2014 Tosh was randomly chosen to participate in a trial drug program (ELAPRASE IT) that allowed the Elaprase he receives on a weekly basis to treat his brain through an intrathecal port. This year Tosh's MPS Awareness day video celebrates the tremendous strides he's made in all aspects of life since participating in the trial.
There is a tremendous movement happening in the MPS world. We encourage you to visit www.projectalive.org to learn more about who you can help find a cure for Hunter Syndrome.
