Thanks for the video. I just ordered one of these for ~$39 from eBay to use for Ham Radio. There are a few basic pieces of software that work best on Windows and I needed something small and cheap. Before this I have been using a raspberry Pi, but the tablet will be more compact and should have just enough processing power.
I'm surprised to see this video. I actually did that Windows 10 upgrade a little ago but now I'm thinking whether it's possible to have Chrome OS Flex on it.
Hello, I saw your video, I have a question, how did you make the touch work? I recently installed windows but I can't get the touch to work again, I already had win 10 on this tablet, I don't know if it's normal, updating windows fixes it, also auto rotation and I can't find dirvers :(
I no longer have this tablet unfortunately. You can try using a program called HWINFO to see if you can identify the name of the missing driver: www.hwinfo.com/download/
@@CarTechGuy so it may look like all the drivers are not all there only a few im stuck on making screen work with hand touch and hot keys power val up/down and windows home key and battery statues and audio drivers can you do a copy of all your drivers and share them on google drive or something
You can search up how to install windows 10 and use those instructions but use micro and instead of usb drive grab the windows 10 iso put on micro and then look for instructions for that tablet for how to access bios to make sure dad card is the first thing to boot and your good to go
If you need Windows software support, and you're planning to just run one app, then maybe... It's very slow and old when you compare it to used Android tablets you can get for the same price on eBay.
Hello I have a toshiba encore 2 with 32 gig hard drive and 64 gig storage drive. Following your video goal is install windows 10 32 bit onto tablet and move data to storage card using disk genius or partition assistant free home version. I've purchased hardware you recommended. Unit has nice power and charger. The 4 port Sabrent usb not recognized by Toshiba table. I've gone to Toshiba site called dynabook and downloaded needed drivers. So I have bluetooth mouse and keyboard working. touchscreen and display drivers working nicely. However no sound. Back to Realtek to download sound drivers. I'm planning to replace the Sabrent 4 port usb with another 4 port usb which has room for ethernet. Any advice concerning malfuntioning Sabrent. Last but not least I can update bios to 2.10
I don't think so. Tablets in general are not upgradeable computers. All components are soldered on the motherboard and no upgrade sockets are provided in order to keep the package thin.
