Do i have to remove everything before the [fan] comes off the device? It looks like a sore. One thing is to dismantle everything and another to put them all back in.
I think you only have to follow this video till the keyboard removal 4:08. Then you should be near to the fan. Just guessing, I only needed to the first 4 minute to solve my problem. I only wanted to tighten the screen hinges.
