Recently did this to my mother's old laptop and had never seen the foil bracket thing before so wasn't sure what do to with it. Thanks for showing what it was. New SSD now sits snugly whereas it was a tad loose without the foil thing.

SSD work in Toshiba C660-1QF model? Can i remove my non working dvd player and put it there with the help of caddy for dual OS dual booting?

Yes will work, need adapter to connect ssd/hdd in place of dvd.

Company installed RAM was 1 GB in one slot and I installed 1 GB in second slot also in 2011. So total I have 2 GB RAM as of now

It's depends on media from where u copy data, also speed of transferring accessories like USB

@@TARIQLAB no i do AS benchmark for testing speed and getting half speed of my ssd and i feel that slow in booting also is the problem is bc of softwere of bc the laptop is too old
