This tutorial will show you how to replace a damaged screen on the Toshiba Satellite and Pro series C850, L850, P850, C670, C850D, P755 notebooks and many others. It can be frustrating to replace broken laptop screens but with a good instruction and tools it will be easy to change. The C850, L850, P850 series come with 15.6 LED LCD monitor display panel and the C670 and L670 come with 17.3 widescreens. You can also use this instruction to fit all other laptops and netbook cracked screens.

Worked like a charm! Thank you. If you do any more of these vids (this is the first one I saw) try to get a close-up of unplugging and reconnecting the cable as I had no audio. But no complaints, great video, very clear.

I saw a spark while trying to change screens, forgot it was plugged in and battery was still in. Does this mean it can no longer be fixed?

Hi. My Toshiba C870-15K has following problem: sometimes when i switch it on, the screen stays dark, as if the wire for the LED backround lighting is loose or broken somewhere. Then i connecct a second display via VGA and later sometime the screen goes on. Is there a way to change only the cable of the LED? Thanks for any help.
