Love you, your content, your accent, determination and generosity to share. I feel like so many RU-vidrs out there are just doing it for the views and throwing viewers garbage content that unfortunately, many hungrily consume. You are so genuine and seem to care about people and humanity as a whole and I love that. I will sometimes put on your videos that I’ve already watched because I find your voice and demeanor so soothing and even if I’m not paying complete attention, subconsciously, I’m still absorbing the information. 😊 I had thought you may be German and I’m happy to hear I was right, I am of German descent and my best friend is from Germany too. She too is so highly motivated and definitely of the growth mindset. 😊
That's a very kind comment of you thank you Jennifer! Obviously I try and get views as well but I aim to help people with every video. Interesting that you thought I might be German, most people can't tell where I am from. Thanks for watching😊
You're German, @@PhilipAnders? Really? 😲I would have never guessed that. I'm often told that I speak English without a German accent, but your English is truly exceptional. Kudos to you!" 👍😉
Thank you! I'm now LIVE on Tostadora! I've been thinking about adding another marketplace for a while now, and this video gave me the motivation to do it. Thanks!
Good job and best of luck with Tostadora! Quick headsup, there are some stats about views on Tosta, they are not accurate. My shops which are getting sales apparently have 0 views ;)
Got so excited.. but the site just froze and I couldn’t click anything..came back to these comments to see if anyone else had issues and it turns out.. Canadians can’t sell in this site. Boo! 😂
On this marketplace, dealing with one particular representative makes it nearly impossible to get validated internationally, so your shops are not translated. With other representatives, on the contrary, validation happens quickly. However, the representative I'm talking about is barely friendly and responds the same way every time, as if he were a robot: you need to wait, there are many people, and you wait for months and nothing happens. When you write to him again, he gives you the same response. I don't understand why Tostadora tolerates this because they are losing money. It's a shame, and I hope they will resolve this. Once again, this is due to one person, and the others are fantastic.
I love your channel and I am learning a lot, thank you. When you stated that Tostadora will add the other products how does that work on pricing adjustments so that you make money on those other items as well. How does that work? Thanks so much ~Many blessings
Hey Philips: you seem to have your products in all sorts of POD shops. I get the impression that you're not very selective (anymore). Or am I mistaken? I'm quite particular. Of course, I want to sell my products in shops where they fit best. But alright, should I see it differently from a strategic perspective? Or just 'try everything out'? Thanks for your awesome videos, man!
I have never really been selective. Since 2020 I have been uploading all of my designs to 10+ marketplaces. Why not try them out. Same designs, potential extra income streams ;)
That's the answer I was already expecting. You're absolutely right: diversifying opportunities. I immediately created an account to secure the name. I'll also follow your advice regarding multiple product categories under one webshop. Thank you and good business, my friend!@@PhilipAnders
Thanks for this video - I’ve been thinking about this POD site for awhile. I do have one question. So I upload a design, and configure it with a specific royalty amount on, say, 3 specific products (men’s t, women’s, and hoodie). And when someone looks at the design, they can choose to purchase it on a different product than those 3, like on a baby onesie. Is there any royalty on that onesie since I didn’t specifically set it up, or do they pay only the base price? Hopefully my question makes sense. Thanks!
Hello philip! I just started uploading on Tostadora lately. I followed the way you upload your design; I put "gifts" at the end of my design name. is that will help on SEO?
@@PhilipAnders Hi Philip! I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your video. I'm new to POD, and your content really helped me understand the basics and get started. Your explanations were clear and easy to follow. I'm excited to dive into this journey with more confidence thanks to you. Keep up the awesome work!
Thanks for this insightful tutorial. I set up a store and added a few designs, but somehow I forgot how to add additional products and change prices. Can you remind me how to do this? Thanks.
Also did I hear or read somewhere that Tostadora can translate your designs into different languages? I may have misunderstood that but how is that platform able to translate the text that is part of the uploaded image? But that would be so awesome if this was true.
you can fudge the billing info and sign up for paypal payments like I did. then it works.. but, this may prove to be a problem later on down the road.. idk. @@mumumumumumumummm
Confused by Tostadora. I added a design as a mug, which worked fine, but when I went to the mug page to THEN click on T-shirt from there, it showed as the base price without royalty. How do we make sure that the t-shirt royalty is applied? Are there any other items where the royalty is not fixed?
Have you considered using Spanish texts or specific Spanish/Latin/Mexican culture designs? I live in a Spanish speaking country and I wonder if there is a market for it and if so what to make. I am not a native Spanish speaker myself, although it was the sixth (I still speak 4/6) language I learned in my life (I still speak 4/6).
Hi Philip, thanks for all your valuable insight! Just a question about Tostadora's request for a certificate of residence. Do you just submit one at end of tax year to reclaim taxes paid in Spain? Thanks.
What about royalites on the products I didn't listed? e.g. I create a hoodie, set royalties for $3, somebody finds it in search but buys t-shirt which isn't "created"?
Signed up to this and I’ve added 11 designs so far. But when I searched for my designs I can’t find them. Is there like a uploading process before they go live in search or have I done something wrong? I did tick so everything is searchable.
FAQ says that they need 24 hours before your designs findable via search engine. another question, cause i opened up a shop just now as well: Did you experienced strange behaviour from the website? I was creating a shop and when i clicked on "shop profile" it loaded a shop from a stranger with another name. When i clicked on manage designs i could see my designs, but everytime i hit the "shop profile" my shop name changed to a random shop name. When i hit "Bank/Tax Information" it took me to the login page to create a new account as if i wasnt registered. Also i uploaded 2 designs and 1 is showing up in the store but the 2nd doesn´t. But 2 designs show up under "manage designs". This is strange shit... i´ve contacted support already but i was wondering if others have the same issues today.
@@PhilipAnders If you are not a resident of Spain, you must provide a residence certificate. Only with the possession of such certificate, we can retain the percentage of income tax in concept of the royalties that are established in the same double taxation agreement (CDI). On the contrary, if we do not have the certificate, we must retain, in general terms, 24%. FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE REFER TO OUR FAQ ON RESIDENCE CERTIFICATES. whats this can you explain please?
@@b2k-desiel630 Asking an accountant is best here as I don't know what the situation is in your country. But for me it means they will withold 24% of earnings. BUT I will have that deducted from my tax bill
I just put up my first design on tostadora, I put the design on t-shirts... but if someone buys a canvas print and I did not select it and adjust the price for my profit will tostadora pay me a profit, or do I lose out? (You said that we do not have to put the design on every item so that we don't fil p our store)
Love your content. Been a fan for years. You did not discuss the Residence Tax Certificate that Tostadora requires for sellers living out of Spain. That is an important issue for new sellers. Can you please address that? I checked the Tostadora FAQ web page, but the link to the examples of certificates is not working. So do not know what kind of residence certificate they want. Please advise.
For Tostadora, what platform they use to withdraw the royalties? Is it available worldwide? I am from Singapore interested to join. What should i put on the Tax ID?
Your videos is really Good but I'm confused brother , dpi or ppi is matter, actually I am using Adobe illustrator and file dimension is 4500×5400. How your are save file as it is or by changing resolution ( ppi )
Hey Phillip, Im in the UK and noticed how Tostadora mentions retaining 24% without a residency certificate. Is it necessary to apply for the residency certificate, as I am not making much money at the minute.
Hey Philip, thanks for the video. Question, after signing up, it's asking for a tax residence certificate? I live in the U.S. Where do i get this form from?
@PhilipAnders Do you know if a copy of a US driver's license would work as proof? I am just starting POD and have opened on Zazzle but want to open my 2nd store on Tostadora. Thanks!
Hi Philip. Thank you for letting us know about this site. Great video! Is there a way to change the currency of the price to USD $ instead of pounds £? My prices display as pounds but I see in your video yours is showing USD which is what I need. Thank you for any help!
I leave outside US and EU countries. How do I resolve tax information issues? I do not have tax information. I would like to sell on Tostadora and Redbubble. Please I need your advice.
Hello and thanks for this video. I have a question. Trying to create 7600x7600 does not work in canva. I tried using upscayl but then the size was too big. Tried going jpg and the changed the dpi but the background came back. How did you do yours?
Fantastic video presentation which I do value and appreciate very much. I am rather new to this and have only just finished designing my first 25 designs for T-Shirts, nothing as yet uploaded to Tostadoro, or any other Print on Demand site. I do have one technical question which I would really appreciate an answer to:- I am using Adobe Illustrator to produce my artworks, I set up the artboard size to 4000 x 4000 pixels square, but when I export my designs as PNG files and then open them up in Adobe Photoshop their size is way bigger and I have to resize them down again to 4000 x 4000 pixels to resave them again as PNG files. Any idea why there is this discrepancy in file size? It's confusing and very time consuming rechecking artwork to see if line thicknesses are adequately thick for printing requirements. Just wondered if you have any sort of answer? Any reply would be most appreciated:)
I am not sure why there is a discrepancy if you actually saved the file @4000x4000 pixels. But I just tend to design and export everything for 4500x5400 from illustrator. I have never check line thickness before
@@PhilipAnders Many thanks for your reply which is very helpful and much appreciated. In future I will try 4500 x 5400 pixels and see what happens. I kind of thought it might be something to do with PNG file size compression, or not using that option which may be causing this issue with my designs in Illustrator to Photoshop, but anyway, whatever the case I can work around this issue. It's just why it happened in the first place which confused me. Many thanks for your reply, again it's most appreciated:)🙂 And, yes I definitely did save my Illustrator files at 4000 x 4000 pixels square, double checked this upon reopening these files in Illustrator and checking. Just a bizarre anomaly, which I can work around. The reason I need to check line widths is because there are relatively fine keylines around some objects in my designs, so am working with about 10pt line widths to ensure they reproduce on a T-shirt successfully.
I was able to create my store and upload some designs yesterday but when I tried searching for my designs I wasn’t able to find it. Does it take a few days before you can actually able to see it? I’ve been on different platforms but pretty new to Tostadora.
That has tostadora's margin factored in. Yeah it's a bit high but people are buying at 22.99-23.99 - Some of the other shirt types have a smaller starting price as well
I have opened a store on the site and I have a little problem. I have 6 designs and none of them are showing up on the home page of my store or in the search results. The site says it can take up to 24 hours for the product to show up anywhere. The problem is that I am not even able to post a link to the product on social media because the link provided next to the product shows nothing. Have you experienced the same problem?
This seems like a really weird question, but I'm sure I'm not the only person wondering: How can I change la idioma (the language) on the LaTostadora website? LOL
Hi, thanks for the video. But this site is very very slow. I am not sure I am the only person experiencing this. I tried in different browsers but no luck. Let me try with another laptop.😊
xD what a joke 48.4K monthly traffic from germany , nice ads btw but don't lie about daily sales because you won't get daily sales from website with that trafic
@PhilipAnders hey, thx so much for answering me. I just started on etsy. I've learned from you. Thanks a lot. I'm making t-shirt designs today for the 1st tine
How can i generate Tshirt designs for free ? Like without paying any kind of subscription to the AI websites is there any other way from which i can generate free tshirt designs for long term perspective? (Designs for the prints) Do reply...thank you for your content (which will be applicable in India)
there are many ways to create free t-shirt designs. I have a Leonardo Ai tutorial which is a free Ai tool. You can pair that with Photopea or Figma (2 free graphic & text editing tools): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AJcMXmaB56k.html Or use the freebies on Creative fabrica, here is my video abour that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mbcsrd5uUuc.html
They give you permission to sell with the free plan anyway. You get 150 credits daily and when you spend it you can no longer generate images, and you need to wait for it to be reset.@@vedantmhatre7243
