interesting take, if the map is big enough and theres enough water in between the 2 big islands that could work. Im worried about everyone just walking there coms on land and then it turns into this dgun fest. when I make a map I usually try to stay away from having tons of metal or a huge point of interest in the center cuz that usually means walk your com there to secure it.

@@BreezyCastsTM So large mass and maybe fan out water mexes around the perimeter. Its always a balancing act because you do not ever want too many mexes or wrecks.

Really wish we could grow the community. I know it’s 25 years late - lol - but I still contest that, even now, this is one of, if not the best, RTS ever made. Now, the Mods perhaps are what tip the scales as the AI on vanilla shows it’s age slightly at times. But either way, this is still my favorite RTS and it was revolutionary when it came out. But the community is what really shines, and Breezycat videos is emblematic of how dope the community is. I can’t imagine how Much work goes into making all these great videos and maintaining this channel. I can’t find this content anywhere else, it’s the perfect blend of informative and insightful narration, while also giving the best perspective on the action and behind the front lines. I’ve shown your Channel To the very few TA fans I know IRL, I wish there were more of us. But your videos are the best man, keeps my love of The game alive. I wish I could Participate more actively in the community and I have thousands of hours logged on TA but I’m not competitive level skill sadly :( Any ideas?

@@andrewwhitney6787 yeah unfortunately I think all we really can do is just keep doing what we've been doing and hope it grows more on youtube and other areas. I think what kept starcraft1 and aoe2 alive were remastered versions of the game which added all the cool things modern RTS have now like fully customizable hotkeys, better UI, updated graphics & more. I dont think TA will ever get something like that since Chris Taylor doesn't have the rights to TA anymore. It's all up to the modding community, content creators, viewers and the player base to keep this game alive. I will say the community on TAForever has grown some from when I first started this channel. The average amount of players on at any given have gone up a bit. I think the only way this game would truly grow is being able to get the younger generation interested in the game. Well if you are interested in playing get on taforever.com there's more players around now of all skill levels. We got a good group of friends that also try and help the newer players get better.
