I think they might be asking you to submit confirmation email that you have opened a block account through Fintiba, Expatrio etc. You will receive a draft letter from the embassy and with that you would require to transfer the sum from Nepali Bank to your block account.

All of the required documents are explicitly listed on the embassy website. The process is not complicated and you need to submit what is asked of you. Of course it is possible to submit extra financial sources like income of parents, property evaluations or bank balance but i don’t want to discourage people with minimal finances for applying. What is asked of you is enough and that won’t be the deciding factor for you getting a visa.

@@satravelvlogs5283 thank you for the reply, I have decided to proceed for the embassy with all the documents mentioned in the website and the only concern I have is regarding my financial document. I only have the confirmation of opening of blocked account from Expatrio. Can I proceed for the interview or is it compulsory to prepare documents like property valuation, income statement as mentioned in the website? Or can I go for the interview with all the remaining documents and confirmation of opening of blocked account for the financial part?

Well that seems contradictory to what i know. As far as i know right now you firstly appear for your interview without opening a block account and only with your financial documents like bank statement. After that you will be given a draft letter to transfer the amount from a bank in Nepal to German online banks like Fintiba. If the process has changed i am not aware of it. But like i said if you have opened the block account then theoretically you shouldn’t be asked any more financial documents. If you are still unsure or have additional financial documents that you can prepare without any hassle then it wouldn’t hurt bringing it over to your interview. And the website mentions to prove your financial means using only ONE of the mentioned methods. But it also mentions additional documents could be asked during the visa process and not the visa interview. If they ask for additional documents during your interview you will get few days to submit it. Just be sure to bring the minimum required documents along.

@@satravelvlogs5283 thank you for the clarification; but I just have the confirmation of blocked account because I have not transferred the amount as of now because for that I need to get the draft letter from embassy which is only possible after the visa interview. What I have now is just the opening confirmation. As you stated, now I think it would be better if I proceed for the interview with bank balance certificate as well. But I have the amount in my own bank account. What do you think? Would it be a problem if I go for the interview with my own bank balance certificate or do I need to show the bank statement of - say parents or siblings?

You need to proceed with your bank statement. It doesn’t matter whose name is it under. Make sure you have sufficient amount converted in Nepali rupees. Best of luck.

I will be straight with you. I don’t believe Germany is a good destination for commerce or business related career speaking english. And i mean your career and not study. Of course it is possible to study your desired course but if you want to pursue english speaking jobs after your study it is very difficult. And more-so during your studies. Of course there are exceptions if you apply for exclusive companies that deal in english. German language is a must and if you are willing to put effort learning it then i don’t see why you wouldn’t get a job during your studies.

Unfortunately no. You need to complete a preparatory course here in Germany before you start with your bachelors degree. There are 3 kinds of preparatory course T-Kurs for Engineering, M-Kurs for Medical field, W-Kurs for Commerce. For the people that studied Commerce in +3 your preparatory course will be pre determined to be W-Kurs
