Why, it's not hurting them in anyway. If you support a child through their self-discovery, your showing how they can freely express and be open about themselves. If you say they should wait, how would you ever expect them to be open with you about something like that again? If they chose to detransition in a few years, who cares? It literally doesn't hurt anyone. But they probably feel supported at least. But if a gender queer kid feels invalidated how would you ever expect them to be happy or comfortable with themselves.

That's when hormones start to fluctuate and flood your brain, you start developing romantic and sexual interests or at least start to have the understanding of sex via sex education and from there, learn about your body and perceptions of it. All of this combines together and eventually, you'll learn something about your identity, whether you're trans or queer. Junior being 12 has nothing to do with him being trans, OP was just being transphobic.
