I mean tbh dave was just too inconsiderate and stupid for example when Sky said she “liked him but” he just said “let’s not hear but” which is impolite and stupid as it’s rude towards the girl and messes up the whole relationship as there’s a problem Dave doesn’t know now. Another example can be seen when Sky says she “likes how funny Dave is” then Dave asks Sky if “she farted” which is literally one of the stupidest things you can ask a girl for obvious reasons and probably put a hole in their relationship even before the team swap. Then after this In this episode he brags about beating Sky in the drinking contest which again is just rude and stupid, finishing off their relationship. Like if he didn’t do that he could’ve still dated her but nope Dave just finishes off their relationship to brag about beating her for two seconds like yeah buddy it’s smart to brag about beating your girlfriend after she loses a contest and looks pissed. Idk if I’m looking too deep into this but even as a guy who’s never dated a girl its clear as daylight to me the mistakes are all avoidable as hell and just beyond stupid. Along with this like you said Dave was too pushy the only point I can give to Dave is with the fact sky SHOULD OF FUCKING SAID SHE HAD A BOYFRIEND AND NOT JUST LET THAT GO FOR SO LONG AS THAT WAS JUST DUMB tho I also can’t blame her completely as Dave was a idiot interrupting her every time she did try to say it and he overreacted big time I MEAN HE FUCKING ALMOST KILLED SKY AND SHAWN TURNING PURE EVIL IN THE LAST EPISODE AND FOREVER RUINING HIS REPUTATION.

nope. dave was a creep and wouldn’t take no for an answer. sky made it absolutely clear that she didn’t want him around her and dave was a whiny cry baby because he didn’t get his way. worst total drama character ever

Imo the worst season is all stars. Pahkitew Island is the best of the 13 episode seasons. I think this is when the creators started learning how to write again. At least pahkitew Island didn't derail existing fan favorites
I know but even still Chris was done with singing it doesn't seem appropriate to shoot Ella out the cannon but when he is tried of hearing people singing but allows someone else to sing

are you kidding me???? dave was repeatedly pushy about them dating and creepy towards sky. exactly like sky said: “I like you but, and you didn’t want to hear the but” he refused to take no for an answer and right after she said no multiple times he BEGS her to be his girlfriend?? dave was gross and stupid from the 3rd episode on and honestly was close to sexual harassment in this episode. sky had every right to be mad at dave after she repeatedly turned him down and he kept making advances on her.

What I find funny about this is in the final episode Dave asks the dumbest question I think I ever heard then Sky says “He was smarter before wasn’t he.” But nope dude was like a complete idiot from fairly early on you just didn’t realize
