If we watch from a periscope in morning(or afternoon) as there is sun's light(white light) outside,why don't the prism scatters the white light into 7 colours?Please anwer

Here for the rays incident on the interface PQ angle of incidence is 0° and therefore angle of refraction is also 0°

I just have one question TIR only happens when light travels from denser to rarer medium so why prism totally reflects light when its entering glass( denser) from air ( rarer). I will be obliged if I get an explanation

Dibyendu Bhattacharjee As incident angle is greater than critical angle And light rays coming out of prism i.e denser to rarer Both conditions are done

Dibyendu Bhattacharjee firstly the rays enter from air to the prism, but as from the interface PR they don't go out of the prism and are rather reflected at an angle at which they were incident therefore it's example of TIR

why the rays are going straight after refraction.... as it is entering from rearer to denser medium it should bend towards normal
