Happy Batman Day 2024! To celebrate our favorite caped-crusader, we decided to re-release a Total Rewind episode looking back at the classic that started it all Batman (1989) Directed by Tim Burton’s and starring Jack Nicholson as the Joker and Michael Keaton as Batman. This film introduced a lot to the comic book film genre and established Batman as the hero we know today. For many, this is still the definitive film adaptation of Batman. But as always, we ask the question…does it still hold up? This episode was created in anticipation of the release of Matt Reeves's film The Batman (2022).
