I get to watch the Arsenal game tomorrow morning with my son in law who is an Arsenal supporter. Even though it’s early start time for us in the US in Arizona I may need a little something stronger in my morning coffee to watch this match. Thanks for the show! I really enjoy it.

Very honest assessment of the Bournemouth debacle and upcoming Arsenal game. Pretty much agree with everything said. Saints will go down unless something dramatic changes. Whether that be RM adjusting how we are set up or him being given the axe but something has to change. If not then it will be a repeat of 2 seasons ago although this time I can see it being even more painful and turgid to watch Great show as ever lads 👏

Baring injuries or suspension, Martin must land on his starting 11 and give them a run of games. Archer should be starting at no 9 every week for example. Lallana should be starting, even if we know he'll get subbed on the hour. Make a decision on Taylor or KWP.

Russell Martin either believes he's a tactical genius. Or Russell Martin is starting to doubt his abilities. Whichever one it is - he needs to sort himself out.

I didn't watch any football for 18 months, and started back up again in 2022. I was surprised at how the game seems to be morphing into this possession based play in a lot of clubs, it is boring. Bayern last night had 70 per cent possession, but only 4 shots on target, and lost. If we can't defend and are too slow in attack, it defeats the object of possession, it just makes it possession for possessions sake. I am seriously thinking about just walking away from it altogether, it is not the same game anymore, it has lost it's heart.

Now that the game has gone could I hear you say that BOURNEMOUTH PLAYED WELL and deserved to win the game and should have been more goals. Ssssssshhhhhhh I listening.

I'd stick with the defence for Aresnal apart from right back and play kwp i think you have to start Lallana on Saturday and Archer up front there's possibly a case for starting Stewart for the first half and bringing Archer on at half time i worried for are defence on saturday as were not good at defending set pieces and Aresnal are good at scoreing from them

I have been a big fan of Bruno Labbadia for years as a manager and said his name way back after Koeman left. He has had a couple of years out of the game to recharge the batteries I heard so for me Martin out, Labbadia in. Russell is a great assistant manager but not savvy enough for the top job just yet...

Not sure if I ever have felt more frustrated as a hangaround to Saints since I started watching them sometime in the 80’s. Sure, they were down in league 1 couple of seasons ago. But this version at the top flight… I gotta be honest. I cant see they belong anywhere near PL level atm. Saddening and pathetic to watch

When the transfer window closed I said I can't see where a saints win will come, we bought boys, nobodies and has beens, and no top class striker. If a lowly fan such as myself can see this plain as day why can't sport republic see this? Martin's well out of his depth and clueless as are sport republic. No ambition, direction or clue. Brighton and Bournemouth are way better clubs than us now. Sfc have regressed massively under current owners. Saints fans are patient and superb fans but we won't stay passive much longer. Taxi for sport republic please, sling ya hook and sell us to someone like Marcus liebherr who gave a fxxx. Rant over. 😢

Sadly I’ve lost all trust in Martin to get wins in this league, regardless of whether he makes completely idiotic decisions like that starting XI. Playing this style with what we have is just never going to work imo. We’re not good enough.
