Hey guys thanks for all the comments, well they could be negative or positive either way life move into other things. I know now, I Will definitely do things different but at the time I was a student and just wanted to try and explore like we all do. correction please,,,once you fix the tripod dont move it, to avoid of disturbing the total station, use the leveling screw to target between ref.pt. and the laser, after that use the legs to level the leveling bubble, then open the locker screw and target again the ref. point by laser, very presice and after that use again the leveling screw to level the bubble. Good video, but you should show us how to start up using the TS.

I don't know of any surveyor who lines up the leveling screws with the legs. Even the top plate design of the tripod is designed to do the exact opposite.

The shape of flat surface of the tripod matches the shape of the base plate, so why the hell are you doing the wrong way? are you making some israel flag out of total station?

if you are in the soil surface, after you target the ref.pt. by the laser and the total station is already installed, what are you going to do with the tripod legs? pushing with your foot? calibration of your total station good for 1 year,, type of user like that you need every 6 months to get accurate and precise survey

That's not how the instrument should on legs...and it's little low don't you think....your gonna kill your back if you have to spend extended time at that station

That guy fernando should not call people haters its all about how you handle your equipment in my opinion you really dont know much your setting up of the theo in unprofessional in other words the whole video is crapwhat you displayed and nothing is all about the same and you showing yourself removing the instrument from the case was a joke next time lay it down flat
