Total War: Attila Age of Charlemagne - Kingdom of Charlemagne #1 

Because Legend has said multiple times that Attila was his least favorite Total War (next to Empire) and one of the only game from the series he actually hates. I don't know when this series was recorded though, maybe he didn't hate it back then but you can hear the frustration in his voice. Well, more than the usual I mean.

I can't remember in which video Legend gave the most detailed explanation as to why he hates it, maybe it was even during a livestream. But from what I remember, he actually really liked the battles but thought the campaign was badly designed. He thought the AI was too focused on annoying the player rather than actually trying to win (by declaring war on the player for no reason despite sharing no borders, then sending a stack to raze a random city and go back home). He thought the negative effects of buildings sometimes didn't make sense (like for example, building a bath consumes food), in his opinion the cities should have a population like in the older games and then the population should consume food instead of the consumption being linked to random buildings. And then you have his usual problems with the way legendary difficulty is made "difficult". Especially the public order being bad for no reason other than you playing on legendary difficulty. Like it would make more sense if, for example, a city not following your religion gave you -5 PO on normal and -15 on legendary, so it would be harder to manage but you could still sort it out. A constant -8 just means that you'll have to fight rebellions until you get the correct techs or many PO buildings. You also have the AI cheating by paying no upkeep for their armies, the double standards when it comes to retreating.... Attila isn't the only TW game that balances legendary difficulty like this, but when you add that to his other problems with the game it explains why he dislikes it more than the others. Also the Roman Empire is his waifu and he doesn't like seeing it getting bodied.

MrRainbowization Plus the fact that Western Rome is supposed to have the stronger military (since when have Greeks beem better militarily than Romans anyway? :P) and it consistently has the worse one in this game plus that Athars OP bullshit skullfucks HEAVY INFANTRY on the charge. Ahistorical minority appeasing childfriendly bullshit everywhere like this needless pandering to the Eastern rosters. Athar's Fucking chosen ruined the entire Grand Campaign for me because they were wearing plot armor. The logic of the AI and CA to boot has no logic. Tanukhids tho were deliciously well designed. Light light light.

This can be said about empire too.
