So Priam, upon the death of Atreus has used his vast political connections and wealth to become the Wanax of the Aegean, and whichever of his sons succeeds him will have to deal with Atreus's ambitious heir Agamemnon who waits in Mycenae looking for the perfect opportunity reclaim his father's position from the Trojans. I sure do hope no major diplomatic incidents happen involving their families.....

Everyone sees aegean kings and warriors. But what i see is a lot of future slaves for the Babylonian Empire.

I've been a total war game for over a decade. I built my first gaming PC just to play Rome II. When Pharaoh came out, I thought it was a horrible shell of a historical Total War, and didn't buy it. You guys are killing it with the updates. Bought it and looking forward to exploring the bronze age.

Man really actually makes me want to play again - didn’t put tons of hours in the OG game but quite excited about the update.

I wish they would put a video or OST of the background Troy trailer song. Like this 0:03 Apart from that I can hardly wait to fight along side the Apollonians.

I have to admit, this new campaign looks incredible. If CA sees the sales boost enough maybe they won't fully abandon it.

0:55 looks like all the stylized unit cards will be in the Egyptian art style. Shame because I was hoping the Greeks would have a more classical Greek pottery style that was more detailed than Rome 2 like we see right after on their politics screens.

Thankfully they had all the Troy Total War material to add. A sceptical person might say they were trying to get saga purchases across the board like triple priced DLC to make a £100 plus complete game. Glad to see that they are making amends... On 25th July, I might just forgive and forget.

"Allow all ancient legacies" and ability to unlock features at the start (probably ability to send caravans or choose gods) look like some great options.

Funnily enough all those War Games & Olympic Games opportunities are hyping me up a lot more than expected! I love the fact we can make the ancient pre-classical greek culture come active in that way! And hell... They might have the best soundtrack just cause of the Kithara & eletric guitar slapping that hard xD

Already bought Pharaoh in an anticipation of this patch. Started a campaign though to familiarize myself to the game mechanics on Legendary mode. Didn't thought I'd enjoy it as much I thought I would.

Great set up to put the Trojans with an elder Priam on top of the Aegean court with Mycenae out of power to start the game. Definitely a Trojan war in the making.

Troy isn't entirely a bad game but the structure of it is the problem. Now in Pharaoh they giving justice and fans are loving it. if they keep this up then we can expect the future total war games would be amazing.

Like I wanted them as an option in Troy and I think they’d be an interesting faction here since the Minoans were a powerful people in their own right. Though we only know so little about them because we don’t know how to translate their language, and everyone else didn’t like them because of their piracy. Soooo information on them is scarce. Don’t let languages die. 😢

2:30 Isn't Aphrodite is a bit anachronistic here, since she probably wasn't part of the Mycenaean pantheon? She's an adaptation of the Phoenician goddess Astarte and probably didn't show up until a few centuries after the setting of TW Pharaoh.

I feel as hyped as when Pharaoh was initially coming out. I just hope the new features are appreciated by the community but also not broken. The remote colonisation seems potentially overpowered.

Achaeans could rule the Aegaen Sea. Agamemnon did. He took his army to the gates of Troy. There was nothing left to conquer. The Sea was his. But Agamemnon is dead. His nation is gone. So we live in evil days. The free men of Hellas have turned on eachother instead of the proper enemies! Those who envy all Achaeans have done! Agamemnon must weep, if the dead weep. I would weep in his place, but I would also hope. The world turns. What was, may come again. The fate still spins the web od men's lifes. So now, perchaps, Gods wish Achaeans to be great again. Perchaps the new Agamemnon will take up the sword. Bring order, where there is chaos. Remake the world the of man to a better place! Perchaps....
